Sehr ehrgeizige App. Kein schlechtes Ergebnis
Das Ziel Insekten (und sonstige Viecher—die App erkennt Spinnen auch, z.B.) von ein beliebiges Foto zu identifizieren, egal von welchem Winkel und Ausschnitt ist wahrlich sehr ambitioniert. Genau wie mit Gesichtserkennungsprograme, sind die Ergebnisse unterschiedlich und nicht immer befriedigend. Aber trotzdem Respekt! Die Treffquote ist ziemlich hoch. Wenn die Identifizierung nicht klappt hilft zumindest die App die Richtung zu bestimmen um dann durch weitere Recherche die genaue Art rauszufinden. Wahrscheinlich wird die App besser und besser je mehr Leute ihre Fotos hochladen und weitere Insekten identifizieren. Weiter so!
Tolle Idee
Wenn ich den Aufbau der App richtig verstanden hab, bietet sie zwar einerseits eine großen Bestand an Insekten, lebt aber auch von den Bildern der Benutzer- sie wächst und wird also besser, je mehr Nutzer Bilder einreichen, Vorschläge machen oder das nicht identifizierte Insekt benennen. Ich hab noch nicht rausbekommen, wie man eindeutig falsche Vorschläge löscht ( ich vermute, dass es geht) Aber als wachsendes " Kompendium" finde ich das toll- ich hoff da helfen viele mit. Und ich hoff, dass der Anbieter sich den Preis nochmal überlegt- als Abo wird das vermutlich den ein oder anderen abschrecken- selbst ich zögere, mir ein Abo ans Bein zu binden. Nett fände ich auch einen Rabatt, wenn man man mehre Apps nutzt.
Tut was sie soll!
Super Idee! Zwar kennt man oft die meisten heimischen Insekten, aber eben nicht immer. Perfekt für Urlauber oder Auswanderer in Ländern mit etwas giftigeren Zeitgenossen. Bisher zwei von drei Treffern, das dritte Tier war kleiner als beschrieben (vielleicht ein Jungtier).
Es gibt nur einen Stern abgezogen für den Abozwang. Super, dass es eine Testwoche gibt, aber die könnte man ohne unnötiges Jahresabo mit anschließend direkter Kündigung doch viel mehr genießen.
Ich fände es schön wenn man pro Tier eine Gebühr zahlen oder Werbung anschauen könnte. Für ein Abo suche ich dann doch zu wenig.
