The Pidgin English was created on the plantations in Hawaii when sugar cane and pineapple was being sent to the continental United States. All of the different immigrants that came, from the Chinese to the Filipinos, made up this new language and colloquialisms. Because not everyone could understand each other, this new broken English was born. Hope this app helps your fit in when you visit Hawaii!
