Pixelmator Pro 3.7 adds support for Apple Intelligence*, introducing faster new ways to bring your creative ideas to life with Image Playground and Writing Tools. This update also improves RAW format support and adds accessibility improvements. Image Playground • With Image Playground, you can now create fun, original images based on a photo, a description, or people from your Photos library. • Use the new Add to Playground feature to easily recreate any image layers or drawings in beautiful artistic styles like animation, illustration, or sketch. • Insert your created images as new separate layers from the Insert menu at the top of your screen or replace any existing layers using the Replace Layer feature. • When working with templates or mockups, you can easily replace placeholder images with your Image Playground creations. Writing Tools • With support for Writing Tools, you can proofread, summarize, rewrite, and modify the tone of any text in your designs. • The Compose feature lets you tap into the power of ChatGPT to create new, original text content from scratch based or a quick prompt or a description. • Simply hover over or Control-click any highlighted text in Pixelmator Pro and click Writing Tools to get started. This update includes an important announcement regarding Pixelmator Pro.

Pixelmator Pro 3.6.14 adds a few fixes to keep the app running smoothly. • If the Photos browser was opened and closed before information about the Photos library was fetched, the next time the browser would be opened, the search feature would not work. Fixed. • In the Photos browser, album names would not be truncated as they should when there isn't enough space. Fixed.

Pixelmator Pro 3.6.13 adds a few fixes to keep the app running smoothly. • Painting while pressing and holding the Shift key would not paint straight lines. Fixed. • Attempting to drag and drop a style to the bottom of the list of styles would cause Pixelmator Pro to quit unexpectedly. Fixed. • Pixelmator Pro would quit unexpectedly when colors with certain color spaces were selected in the toolbar. Pixelmator Pro 3.6.7 introduces a 5x more precise Auto Straighten feature, and includes several other improvements and fixes. Auto Straighten • The Auto Straighten algorithm has been completely redesigned, now offering 5x more precision, particularly in images with unclear horizons and low-quality images. Other Improvements and Fixes • RAW files from Nikon Z 8 cameras are now supported in DX-format, as well as in 1:1 and 16:9 crop modes. • Improved stability when working with SVG and PSD documents. • When exporting text with inside or outside strokes to SVG or PDF, the strokes would not be displayed correctly in the exported file. Extended RAW Support • Thanks to extended RAW support, you can now open and edit RAW images from 28 new camera models. • Pixelmator Pro now supports RAW files from the Canon Powershot G2, one of the earliest popular digital cameras with RAW support. • You can now open and edit RAW files from Fujifilm X-S1 and other Fujifilm cameras, including numerous FinePix models such as the XF1, X10, F550EXR, F600EXR, F770EXR, F900EXR, HS10, HS11, HS20EXR, HS30EXR, HS33EXR, HS50EXR, S1, and SL1000. • Pixelmator Pro now supports RAW files from numerous Panasonic LUMIX camera models, including the DC-G9 II, DC-S9, DC-GX880, DMC-FZ45, DMC-FX150, DMC-FZ28, RAWs shot in High Resolution Mode on DC-G9 cameras, and all RAWs from the DC-GH5 II models. • Open and edit RAW files from Pentax KP and Pentax KF cameras, as well as all RAW files from Pentax K-1 Mark II and Pentax K-3 Mark III cameras, except those captured with the Dynamic Pixel Shift Resolution mode. • Pixelmator Pro now supports RAWs shot in High-Res Mode on the Olympus OM-1 Mark II, Olympus E-M5 Mark II, Olympus E-M5 Mark III, and Olympus PEN-F cameras. • RAW images from Samsung Galaxy NX and Sony ILCE-QX1 are now also fully supported. Pixelmator Pro 3.5.8 brings improved support for vector PDFs — including those created using Apple apps like Safari, Keynote, or Pages — now letting you edit text elements as regular text layers. The update also adds the ability to create freely customizable strokes around text layers and introduces a new Bento Grid template collection. Text Editing in PDFs • You can now import and edit text elements in vector PDFs as regular text layers. • Replace, format, and style the imported text using your favorite Pixelmator Pro tools. • Thanks to the advanced recovery of embedded text data in PDFs, original text content, fonts, and text formatting are retained. • Even if a document contains fonts that are not installed on your Mac, you can still import them as editable text layers and replace missing fonts with other available ones. Extended Support for Apple PDFs • Enjoy editing text layers in PDFs created using Keynote, Safari, or Pages and unlock exciting new editing workflows. • PDFs created from web pages using SF Pro font will retain their appearance and original typeface if this Apple system font is installed.
