Ratings and Reviews
Geniale Streaming App
Nach dem Ende von Google Music habe ich mit Plexamp eine nahezu perfekte Streaming Lösung gefunden, in der die eigene Mediathek eingebunden werden kann.
Für mich lässt die App fast keine Wünsche offen. Egal ob Ansteuerung der smarten Lautsprecher via Chromecast zuhause oder via Car Play unterwegs - alles ist mit an Bord und funktioniert zuverlässig.
Besonders die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind überlegen. Egal ob ich einen hochauflösenden Stream hören möchte (bis 2 Mbps oder komplett ohne Konvertierung) oder den Zwischenspeicher so groß wähle, dass mir auch Funklöcher auf der Autobahn oder beim Laufen im Wald egal sind, alles lässt sich einfach einstellen.
Auch die Funktion zur Musikauswahl und insbesondere die Möglichkeiten des automatische Playlist Builders lassen kaum Wünsche offen.
Kritikpunkte? Nicht wirklich. Einzig die Eingewöhnung bedarf etwas Zeit, da zumindest in meiner Wahrnehmung die Nutzerführung nicht immer intuitiv ist und ich auch jetzt noch immer an der ein oder anderen Stelle in den Funktionen verloren gehe.
Bester Musik Player
Sofern man einen Plex Server betreibt, viel Musik besitzt und sich den Plex pass gegönnt hat ist dies der beste Player auf dem Markt. Lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ja die Bedienung ist nicht immer einfach aber ein bisschen Einarbeitung kann man schon erwarten und irgend wie müssen die ganzen Funktionen ja verstaut werden.
Top Start mit ein paar Makeln
Ich besitze schon seit einiger Zeit den Lifetime pass und nutze Plex mit meinem Synonogy NAS. Klar gibt es Alternativen aber mir gefiel Plex immer sehr gut.
Jetzt habe ich entdeckt das es eine dedizierte Musik Streaming App gibt. Sie ist deutlich intuitiver aufgebaut Hinsicht Musikstreaming. Es gibt sinnvolle Einstellungen wie unbegrenzte Datenrate im WLAN. Man merkt aber das sie nicht perfekt ist, so ruckelt die Steuerung/GUI ab und zu, was man sonst nicht wirklich gewohnt ist in iOS (iPhone X). Außerdem ist es etwas Sperrung aus der „Now playing“-Übersicht herauszukommen. Das nach unten wischen ist möglich aber ich muss über 2/3 des Bildschirms wischen. Das darf gerne etwas empfindlicher sein.
