POMPEII TOUCH is an app about ancient POMPEII. It can be used sightseeing ruins or everywhere at any time as didactic instrument or for cultural entertainment. The target audience is very various because it has a simple and intuitive interface. This app gives people possibility to make a comparison between how Pompeii is and how it was before eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD
Downloading POMPEII TOUCH app on tablet and smartphone, users can choose a photo of a location and, with a touch, it appears correspondent and reconstructive hypothesis of places. 3D RECONSTRUCTIONS ARE REALIZED WITH EXPERT ADVICES BY ARCHEOLOGISTS and historians who have been working for many years in VESUVIAN ARCHAEOLOGY field.
You can also interact with 3D MAP of ancient Pompeii. Discover cutaway drawings of houses and Public Buildings. Understand how Romans used the Velarium on the amphitheater. You can grind wheat by ancient millstone in 3D...etc.

Nicht empfehlenswert
Negativ: Liefert lediglich 3-D-Bilder im Vergleich damals zu heute. Wie die Bücher im Shop bei denen man zwei Fotos übereinander legen kann. Positiv: Mit interaktivem Lageplan mit GPS-Standort. Negativ: Liefert wenig bis keine Informationen über die Historie von Pompeii. Da hätte ich mir mehr erwartet.
Nicht so gut als erwartet
Ich war sehr enttäuscht von dieser App, da es als Offizielle App direkt bei dem Ticketoffice beworben wird. Wenige zusätzliche Informationen und die 3D Ansichten beschränken sich auf Bilder. Die MAP ist zu ungenau und hat beim entdecken der Ruinen nicht geholfen.
