Popur 4+

An interesting app with some lovely ideas like checking the cat’s weight (although it has never shown any result and I also couldn’t figure out how the Popur would discern between multiple cats).
The app obviously isn’t fully where it should be, it seems to have been created with a bit of haste and areas like the Help and FAQ section are far from meeting the expectations of a user who hasn’t stopped using electronics in the 90s.
Anyway, the app doesn’t work since the last Firmware update to 4.1.1, it simply refuses to communicate with the Popur and stays in a state where it appears to be connected to a machine but won’t trigger any command on the Popur.
Usually one would ask customer support for help, but at Popur they are the first line of defense and have a very unique idea of response time (4 days in my case) and a reply showing that they indeed think that their customers are fools. But then maybe we are, we bought the machine and helped to pay their salary.
Long story short: The app is a good idea, it shows potential, now Popur needs to get it working and invest in its development. Two stars for trying.

I really like my Popur litterbox. It works flawlessly. However this app is just bad. Long loading times, stuff disappearing or broken all the time. No push notification settings you get one got every cleaning cycle which forces you to turn them off altogether which means you don’t get the important ones when the hardware encountered a problem.
