Description

I like to think about this app as a natural evolution of the traditional drawing mannequin, I designed it to have minimal details and just some hints of anatomy, so it generalizes well with any kind of character I want to draw. As artistis aroudn the world started supporting it and appreciating it it eveolved beyond my best expectation in what it is now. Muliple mannequins, shuffling of parts, export of 3d models and much more. The screen space rotation method and others automatic features make your posing process faster and dynamic. Pose it and view it just the way you need it to strengthen and improve your human figure drawing skills or export the 3d models out of it for your sculpt or 3d projects.
Poseit was born as my personal tool to help me drawing the most challenging poses, during the lockdown I had to spend my vacations at home and I gave myself the challenge to polish it and publish it (yes it is my very first app). I hope it now can serve others as good as it served me. If you decide to unlock the pro version please be aware that, as solo indie developer, and being a pet project and not my main job, I cannot guarantee a proper support and further development of this app. Nevertheless it will be greatly appreciated :)

What’s New

Version 2.1.4

Fixed a problem with the ads system. Solution: got rid of the ads, at least for now. Fixed also a crashed when the image exporter ran on old devices.

DarkDamokles ,

There is space to improve ;-)

Conclusion:
I bought the pro version right away because I wanted the werewolf manequin. (i wish there were more fantasy creatures ;-( )
Although I was a bit annoyed about the cons - the positive impressions clearly convinced me and I would happily recommend this app to any artist who wants to achieve a lot with little! <3
If the counterpoints are still being solved, I'm VERY happy to give 5 stars!

Per:
- The Pro version is only €4.99!
- You can always adjust the luminosity of the light source and even rotate it
- You can create different body types with the male and female mannequin
- You can export the created 3D model to common clouds that you use with your iPad (e.g. iCloud, Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox).
- You can import your created 3D model from cloud into Procreate and use it to paint <3

Cons:
- customizing is a bit… annoying.
Every slide, tilt, detailed rotate and adjust has to be done with your fingertips. ;-(
- the props cannot be adjusted precisely on the mannequins ;-( (you can see, for example, the back of the head or the ears sticking out of the hood or the hat, tested on the werewolf type)
- To use more body types or even the werewolf mannequin, you need to buy the Pro version
- Werewolf should have more physical customization (muscles on torso, legs etc.)

Developer Response ,

Hi and thanks for the in-depth review and feedback, about the cons sometimes the props need to be scaled to fit the different mannequins, you can do that from the prop menu with the prop selected. I believe the range of free things you can find in the app is already quite big, to offer even more would not be fair towards the user that decided to support me and all the work I have put in this app. I am always open for suggestions, how would you make the customisation less problematic?
Again thanks for the feedback

Love it, but one feature…

I really love the app. It allows me to create awesome shape drawings I would not be able to achieve otherwise. I would love one more feature though: the ability to scale different parts of the body to achieve a more diverse catalogue of shapes, like fantasy creatures and non-realistic proportions. That would be awesome! Otherwise great app

Jennifer V. Meier ,

Almost perfect

Almost perfect it just lacks the ability to move two characters within the grid? As in further away or left or right to one another. This would be really useful

Edit: thanks for letting me know how to do it!

Developer Response ,

Hi, thanks For the review! if you mean moving the whole mannequin then you need to select the hip and then use two fingers slide to drag it around. You can also use the pinch gesture to move draggable things closer to you or further away. I would recommend to watch the video called how to pose it on YouTube there I explain all the secrets of the app.

[Edit]Happy to know that:)
