With PreSonus QMix™, up to ten musicians can simultaneously control their StudioLive™ monitor (aux) mixes using an iPhone® or iPod touch®. Adjust each channel’s send level individually or use QMix’s Wheel of Me to control the relative levels of multiple “Me” channels at once. QMix can connect to any StudioLive mixer over a wireless network. Conversely, multiple iPhones and iPod touches running QMix can simultaneously control the same StudioLive mixer and you still have Virtual StudioLive (VSL), SL Remote, and hardware control.

QMix requires a Mac® or Windows® PC running the latest version of Universal Control (which includes VSL) and a StudioLive-series mixer. The computer and mixer must be connected and synced via FireWire 400. VSL must be launched in order for QMix to detect a StudioLive mixer on the network.

REQUIREMENTS:

Compatible with iPhone and iPod touch. Requires iOS 8.0 or later. iOS device must be networked to a computer running the latest version of Universal Control that is connected and synced to a StudioLive-series mixer via a FireWire 400 connection.

Wieso?

Hey Presonus,
Es ist schade das ein Pult wie das 16.0.2, was immer noch verkauft wird, keine updates mehr erhält.
Leider wird kein FireWire 800 unterstützt, also kann man nur noch olle MacBooks mit der Remote unter SL Studio verwenden.
Unter iOS 11 wird es dann die Remote QMix gar nicht mehr geben.
Sollten da wirklich keine updates mehr geplant sein wäre das für mich völlig Presonus untypisch.
In dem Punkt war Presonus vielen Konkurrenten voraus, aber jetzt werden in Samsung Manier Services kastriert mit denen zuvor groß geworben wurde und essentiell wichtige Funktionen werden jetzt dadurch funktionslos und unbrauchbar gemacht? Hmmmm. Es gab einen guten Grund für den Kauf und jetzt wird mein 16.0.2 wohl weichen müssen weil es nicht mehr so genutzt werden kann wie ich es im livebetrieb benötige und gewohnt bin.

Auf iPhone 6 mit iOS 10 sowie mit iPad mini 4 unter iOS 9.3.5 mit Studio live 16.4.2 verbunden mit MacBook OS X 10.9.x via FireWire 400 unbenutzbar. Die Auxwege lassen sich scrollen aber nicht auswählen. Auch sonst reagiert die App nicht wie sie soll. Was soll das? Dringend updaten. Die Konkurrenz von zB soundcraft macht das besser.
