How does the Promova Premium work:
We are offering monthly, 6-month, and annual subscription plans. Currently, a 7-day free trial is available for an annual Premium subscription only. If you are happy with the features Promova offers, after this period, you will be automatically charged the full price of the chosen Premium plan, which was indicated on a payment screen during checkout.
If you want to cancel the free trial or your current Premium subscription, please make sure to do this at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period. Otherwise, you will automatically be charged a price according to a chosen Premium plan. To manage your subscription, please go to the AppleID Account Settings. Please keep in mind that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Also, please pay attention that Promova has both mobile and web versions that are connected. Therefore, if you purchased the subscription on the web, and you do not see the current subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings, please go to your Promova's Account (mobile or web version) > My purchases > Payments & subscriptions > Cancel subscription.
When a subscription is canceled, access to the app's courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

When learning a language can save someone’s life.
On the occasion of National American Sign Language (ASL) Day, Promova launches a free ASL course.
The course consists of 12 bite-sized lessons that cover some basics of ASL (greetings, expressing gratitude, and ordering food and drinks). Additionally, it includes essential signs for communicating in emergency situations, such as asking for help, warning about fire, and expressing the need to call emergency services.
In critical moments, knowing even a few ASL signs could be the difference between life and death – for instance, alerting deaf individuals, especially those without hearing aids, to important information like a fire alarm or the sound of gunfire.
Completing the beginner level of this course takes less than an hour, but the impact knowing those signs can have is truly priceless.
With the current update, the ASL course is available for free for all our learners. To access it, open the list of available courses and scroll down. The course materials are provided with explanations in English.

Vorsicht! Scheint Abzocke zu sein.
Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Bewertungen, das ist meine erste. Ich war ausnahmsweise mal nicht aufmerksam genug und habe diese App gekauft, weil der Test vorher sehr gut und professionell aussah. 15 Min/Tag lernen und ich 60 Tagen besser englisch sprechen fand ich einen guten Deal. Voller Elan angefangen und gleich feststellen müssen, dass weder die Website noch die App flüssig laufen, Übersetzungen und Grammatik (und wenn selbst ich das merke!) sowie Anweisungen orthografisch falsch sind und dann Bilder, die zum Test gehören mehrfach (trotz Neustart, Neuinstallation, …) nicht angezeigt werden, kann das einfach nicht denk. Ich habe sie auch gekauft, weil es scheinbar eine „Money Back Guarantee“ gibt, von der man jetzt natürlich nichts mehr findet. Dachte ich, ok, in D hat man ja 14 Tage Widerrufsrecht, selbst auf elektronische Waren. In den AGB nachgelesen, dass man scheinbar beim Kauf direkt seine Rechte zum Widerruf abgegeben hat. Ok?!? Bin gespannt, ob ich mein Geld trotzdem zurück bekomme - schließlich wurde es in der Anzeige behauptet (nur leider keine screenshots gemacht). Erscheint mir alles in allem sehr unseriös und ich ärgere mich, dass ich darauf reingefallen bin.

Teuer und voller Fehler
Bevor man irgendetwas starten kann muss man erstmal zahlen (Kostenpflichtiges Probeabo). Da läuten bei mir immer die Alarmglocken. Eine gute App soll man erst benutzen und dann zahlen wollen aus Überzeugung, nicht anderes rum.
Dann wenn man das (normalerweise kostenlose!) Probeabo bezahlt hat hier sind die App Funktionen stark eingeschränkt. Für knapp 11€/Woche bekommt man eine Hand voll Vokabeln die man irgendwie schon mal gehört hat und meinen Wortschatz nicht wirklich verbessern. Die anderen Funktionen hab ich erst gar nicht ausprobiert, weil man jede einzelne für 10-20€ freischalten muss.
Kleiner Tipp für welche die ihr Können wirklich ausbauen wollen: alles in dieser App gibt’s Online kostenlos. Viele Verlage veröffentlichen ihre Infos/Pdf‘s wie in dieser App sogar legal gratis online und die Komplett-Pakte mit Print-Exemplaren kosten oft sogar weniger wie diese App für nur eine Pdf will
