Nice!
I love this app. Very useful to collect information, lists, things you wanna remember and so forth in one place. Since having qwikcards on my iphone and on macbook I find it very easy to find just the information I once stored in no time. Please integrate Dropbox and iCloud sync...
Good App, could be even better
This app does what it apparently is supposed to do: managing index cards. It is simple to use, easy to understand and efficient to handle. What I am missing here is to choose fonts and font sizes as well as have a possibility to format card titles more outstanding (e.g. bigger font size and bold text). Would be also nice to allow coloring the index cards itself to visually group them. Other useful features would be to allow bullet lists (with indentation) and coloring text pieces or single words like with a marker pen to make keywords or buzz words more outstanding. So overall I would pretty much enjoy having more text editing features available which would make this app my favourite one.
Perfect cards, almost
QwikCards is a simple implementation of the organizational paradigm "card boxes". Working perfectly, with an easy-to-use interface, this tools can be used for note keeping and time management, leaving enough freedom for the personal style of organization (e.g. GTD). The fulltext search can be used for filtering, for, say, tags like @home, @today, etc. Sync with the Mac OS version works flawlessly.
Given its early status (version 1.02), there is room for improvements:
- Moving cards between card boxes
- Different fonts for card headers and card contents
- Automatic sync with the Mac OS version of Qwikcards
