The goal of Read Scripture is that everyone would read the Bible for themselves and discover the truth and beauty of God’s Word.

To this end, we are curating a year-long Bible reading plan and supplementing the reading with amazingly creative videos (produced by our friends at the Bible Project) that explain every book of the Bible, major theological themes of the gospel, and tips on how to read the Bible.

We house all of this content in a beautifully designed app that is available to download in the App Store.

We encourage you to experience Read Scripture in community but it is set up so that you can go through it on your own.

Awesome bible reading app

This app is guiding the reader through the whole bible. Besides the intuitive order of books, the videos made by "The Bible Project" help to get deeper insight into the bible's structure and its powerful message.

A suggestion/feature request: For the more experienced reader, it would be nice to get a direct navigation to the video resources. Maybe that could really be a separate app by "The Bible Project", but I feel it shouldn't be too difficult to add here.

Also looking forward to translations. I see that the german branch of the bible project is making great progress...

Fantastically put together

Takes a very intimidating book (The Bible) and makes it very easy to understand. Great for anyone who really wants to read and understand the message of the Bible.
I can highly recommend it.
