The Roll20 Companion App is everything a player needs at game time! Keep your characters at your fingertips at home, the game store, or wherever your adventures take you. Access your 5E character sheet from your mobile device and get your character’s info at-a-glance including your armor class, feats, and inventory.
View your character’s stats and skills during your game session, including your spell DC and proficiencies. Track inspiration, spell slots, hit points, ki points, and sorcery points. Ready to roll for initiative or make an ability check? Let us do the math for you. Dice rolls made in the app are also sent to the Roll20 VTT chat, powered by our signature quantum roll server.

Characters must be created and edited on the Roll20 website and be in an active game to appear in the Companion App. You can also leave feedback for bugs and improvements straight from your mobile device.

Missing features
Nice to access the stuff already in your character sheet but there‘s two crucial functions missing for me:
- do level ups and add/manage inventory and spells
- as a dm I need to access every character sheet in the campaign. That way I‘d have more space on my PC monitor
App hat keine Daseinsberechtigung
Ich sehe keinen Grund diese App zu verwenden. Viele Funktionen fehlen. Man kann z.B. nach einem Angriffswurf den Schaden nicht auswürfeln. Dies muss über die Website geschehen. Die Initiative wird nicht in den turn tracker aufgenommen, hier muss der GM manuell eingreifen. Keine Charaktererstellung und keine level ups. Warum eine companion app anbieten wenn man zwangsweise die Website braucht um grundlegende Funktionen des Charakters auszuführen?

Es ist schon seltsam, dass so eine große Rollenspielplattform es nicht auf die Reihe bekommt eine vernünftige App zu erstellen. Das in der heutigen Zeit, wo man fast nur noch mit Tablet und Smartphone unterwegs ist.
