With a traffic alarm from Saphe you gain a wealth of benefits:

• Starts up automatically with your car.
• Quick and secure operation.
• You become part of a traffic community of more than 11 million users.
• Works abroad where you gain access to approx. 100,000 fixed speed cameras.
Saphe Premium subscription
Saphe Premium gives you access to additional features:
• Speed limit display.
• Speeding assistant.
• Route navigation.
• Apple CarPlay.
At the same time, your subscription ensures that you will continue to receive the latest updates and features. The new Saphe Drive Pro traffic alert requires a paid subscription to Saphe Premium.
Saphe Premium can also be combined with older models such as Saphe One+ and Saphe Drive Mini.
Getting started
• Download the Saphe Link app.
• Create a user account.
• Connect the traffic alarm to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
• Activate/create a subscription for Saphe Premium (required for Pro). If you have a starter pack, the traffic alarm is already set up with a 12-month subscription.
• Place the traffic alarm in the car within sight and reach.
Please note that:
- to be able to start automatically, Saphe Link needs access to your location, while the app is in the background.
- continuous use of GPS in the background may drain your battery faster than normal.

Customise Saphe Link to your needs
Select the alerts that are important to you. When you have ensured that you only receive the alerts that are applicable to you, you will be able to set alert times, alert information and tone etc.

Saphe Link enables motorists to communicate with each other quickly and efficiently by sharing data about everything that happens on the road. This form of communication can make a significant difference, with the goal of reducing the number of accidents in traffic. If an incident occurs on your route that you need to pay attention to, you will be informed quickly thanks to the active community of motorists. You can also help them by reporting traffic incidents yourself. The traffic data is updated in real time to ensure a high quality of the latest warnings.

Funktioniert gut aber wenig Mehrwert
Die App funktioniert gut mit dem Saphe Mini und verbindet sich auch problemlos beim einsteigen ins Auto automatisch.
Auch wenn hier behauptet wird, dass der Akku des Telefons nur beansprucht wird, wenn das Telefon mit dem Gerät verbunden ist stimmt dies nicht. Meiner Einschätzung nach hält der Akku ca. 1/3 kürzer als vorher (auch wenn ich an dem Tag nicht Auto gefahren bin. Die App versucht anscheinend im Hintergrund ständig nach einer Verbindung und zieht dadurch enorm viel Strom.
Das lässt sich nur verhindern, wenn man Bluetooth ausschaltet und bei Bedarf wieder einschaltet. Dann kann man sich aber auch gleich das Gerät sparen, da der Mehrwert lediglich darin besteht, dass man sich eigentlich nicht manuell verbinden muss oder die App beim einsteigen aufrufen muss. Das heißt man könnte auch einfach die App installieren ohne das physische Gerät zu nutzen und hätte den gleichen Mehrwert.

Erster Eindruck positiv
Nachdem mein Ooono immer unzuverlässiger wurde, habe ich trotz der schlechten Rezensionen Saphe eine Chance gegeben. Die Installation sowie das FW-Update liefen problemlos. Das Gerät hat sich in den bisher wenigen Tagen problemlos jederzeit automatisch verbunden und dies durch kurzes Signal unmittelbar nach dem Einsteigen angezeigt. Gefahrenstellen werden zuverlässig und deutlich lauter als bei Ooono angezeigt. Das Batterieproblem konnte ich hier nicht nachvollziehen. Mein Akku ist auch nach mehreren Tagen Benutzung noch voll.
Ein Stern Abzug, weil leider trotz Apple Carplay die Navigation nicht in mein Head-up-Display gespiegelt wird (bei BMW werden Anweisungen von Apple Karten im HuD normalerweise angezeigt). Somit werde ich nicht mit Saphe navigieren, obwohl ich dies wegen der optischen Darstellung der Gefahrenstellen gern täte. Aber auf das HuD möchte ich bei aktiver Navi nicht verzichten, also muss das Piepsen reichen. Wenn ich ohne aktive Navigation fahre, nutze ich allerdings die Saphe-App via Carplay und das funktioniert gut.

Saphe drive mini
Ich habe den drive mini fast 18 Monate und bis vor 2 Wochen war ich begeistert. Sogar eine Saphe Premium gebucht.
Leider nach der letzte Update hält das akku ca 2 Tage und ist komplett leer. Und das ist eine Katastrophe..Also Gerät unbrauchbar. Nach der Nachfrage hab ich Antwort vom Support bekommen das, das Problem liegt nicht an der Hardware bloß Software/ Firmware und die Entwickler arbeiten kräftig an den Fehler.. Mal sehen wie lange es dauert. Momentan wie gesagt Gerät unbrauchbar. Akku laden jede zweite tag macht kein Spaß..
Ich gebe trotzdem 5 Sterne mit Hoffnung das der Fehler schnell behoben wird...Fredi
