[About ScanSnap Connect Application]
This application easily allows your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to handle images scanned with the personal document scanner “ScanSnap”.
[What you need]
To use ScanSnap Connect Application, you need to have Wi-Fi connection (via direct connection or your router) and the following devices.
・Wi-Fi-supported ScanSnap
Computer may be required for initial setup.
・iPad / iPhone / iPod touch series
[Main features of ScanSnap Connect Application]
-Receive and view PDF/JPEG images scanned with ScanSnap in a seamless manner.
-Receive ready-to-use files already corrected with various features (automatic paper size detection/auto color detection/blank page removal/deskew).
-View images offline.
-Use images in "Mail", "Print", "Photos" or an application that supports PDF/JPEG on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

-For details how to set up / use this application, select the [i] icon at lower left corner of the screen after you start up the application, then refer to [Help].

Along with the Google security enhancements, we have ended the provision of the ScanSnap Sync function using Google Drive.
Please use the file-sharing function to connect to Google Drive.

Nicht durchdacht
Leider kein Ersatz zu der Anwendung auf dem Computer. Die meisten Funktionen fehlen (OCR, Stichwörter, Split, Profile, automatische Drehung). Auch ein Speichern nach OneDrive for Business& SharePoint ist nicht möglich. Dateien können nur einzeln „geteilt“ werden.. in der Massenauswahl ist der Knopf ohne Funktion. Auf iPhone 7 Plus ist die UI zudem merkwürdig gezoomt. 2 Sterne, da die Scans immerhin schnell am Handy landen und nicht wie am PC jeder Scan einzeln bestätigt werden muss, bevor er im Ordner landet und man den nächsten Scan anstoßen kann. Wird die App noch weiter entwickelt um ein würdiger Ersatz zum PC zu werden? Wäre wünschenswert, um nicht immer den PC zum scannen hochfahren zu müssen
Macht die Fujitsu Doku-Scanner zum Hit
Nach dem letzten großen Facelift ca. 2017 ist die ScanSnap Software zwar etwas Klicki-Bunti und instabiler gewesen, aber die iOS als auch auch Mac OS Versionen wurden und werden akkurat von den Entwicklern gepflegt. In Kombination dieser App mit den Fujitsu Doku Scannern ist ein dermaßen gutes Gesamtprodukt gereift, dass ich sagen möchte: Beste Soft-/Hardware-Lösung der letzten 10 Jahre. Dazu trägt auch diese App bei. Schnell, stabil, unproblematisch.
Klasse App
Leider kann ich den ganzen anderen Bewertungen nicht so folgen. Die App läuft stabil und funktioniert wirklich einwandfrei. Für aktuell etwas über zwei Sterne hätte ich wesentlich schlimmeres erwartet. Wahrscheinlich hat der Hersteller in der Zwischenzeit schon etliche Bugs behoben.
