Preis wert!
Ja, diese App sieht zunächst etwas teuer aus. Trotzdem bin ich mit der Funktionalität und Stabilität sehr zufrieden. Schön ist, dass ich nun beim Portabelbetrieb für FT8 kein Notebook mehr mitnehmen muss, sondern alles über das iPhone machen kann, das ich sowieso immer dabei habe.
Ich richte auf dem iPhone einen Hotspot ein, mit dem sich dann der IC-705 verbindet. Somit habe ich dann weiterhin die Verbindung zum Internet, um z.B. den PSK-Reporter zu erreichen.
In der aktuellen Version vermisse ich noch etwas die Möglichkeit, bei eigenen CQ-Rufen in FT8 die Sendefrequenz direkt in der FT8-Ansicht auf eine freie Frequenz einstellen zu können (z.B. durch Klick auf den Wasserfall in der FT8-Ansicht), aber vielleicht lässt sich dies auf dem kleinen iPhone-Bildschirm auch nicht so einfach implementieren.
Zumindest für den FT8-Betrieb kann ich diese App sehr zu empfehlen!
FT8/FT4 mit dem iPhone…
Ich habe mir die APP direkt nach dem Erscheinen gekauft und bin mehr als begeistert. Nach nur wenigen Einträgen beim Einrichten war mein IC-705 verbunden und etwas später die ersten QSO‘s geloggt…genau diese Möglichkeit FT8/FT4 portabel zu machen habe ich bereits lange gesucht und hiermit gefunden… Vielen Dank für die klasse APP Marcus. Absolut empfehlenswert
Ich nutze die App auf dem iPhone und iPad. Ich war im Ausland unterwegs und freute mich, Funkbetrieb über meine Station zu Hause machen zu können.
Die Modulation über meine Endgeräte ist gut und man bemerkt praktisch nicht, dass ich nicht an der Station sitze.
Selbst Betrieb über QO-100 ist von unterwegs möglich.
