ShadowDraw: Zeichnen Lernen 9+

Hi, also erstmal finde ich die App und das Konzept an sich super gut, nur das es keine einzigen kostenlosen Zeichnungen gibt enttäuscht mich etwas. Klar ich versteh das man auch Geld verdienen möchte aber 8€ im Monat und 60€ im Jahr für eine Zeichen-app sind dann doch etwas zu viel. Und ja es steckt bestimmt super viel Mühe in der App aber ich glaube einfach das man die Preise wenigstens bisschen runterschrauben könnte, damit sich das Zeichnen auch preislich für die Kunden lohnt.

Nice idea, but I’m missing some features

In general, I’m really enjoying the app. There’s a lot of very nice drawings in all different kinds of styles, so there’s something for everyone.

But I’m a bit frustrated with the app sometimes. Some drawings take quite a while, which would be fine, if there was some way of saving your progress. I just don’t always have the time to finish the whole thing, but I’d like to continue later, without having to do everything I already did again. I’d really appreciate some way to save the progress and continue on later.

What’s also a bit frustrating is the “sets” where you finish one drawing in several steps, for example, you first do a sketch, then once it’s finished, you continue on to the next step, so for example inking. But for some reason, with certain “sets”, you just have to do the sketching again before it comes to inking on the second step, when that should just be inking. This is annoying when you’ve just done the sketch in step one. I could’ve simply started with the last step instead of the first one if it includes sketching, inking, and whatever else. Again, I wouldn’t have a problem with this if you could just skip one major step, for example the sketch, so you just simply continue with the inking without having to do the sketch again.

I do hope you will look into these issues, because I think that it would heavily improve the app, and I do like it for the most part. Good luck!

Is your goal with your review to turn people away so they don't try us out at all? I see you are in Germany and I think you for writing in English. We are working to localize ShadowDraw into Deutsche as well.

We work hard to continue to learn from classic teaching methods and add them into our ShadowDraw technology.
One thing we have learned from talking and researching and reading a lot on famous artists and hardworking artists to practice their craft every day... is that you learn by doing.

Learn by actually drawing and practicing and doing. Now watching videos.
We also try to keep updated on other drawing apps. Do you know of another app that actually teaches you how to draw in a new and unique way? If so please tell me about is so I can research them and learn from them.
Our latest update shows you how to practice gesture drawing. We will be adding a lot more of that too. Gesture drawing is taught all over the world and all over the web. Can you please share with me an example you like and I will work hard to add it?
ShadowDraw is for all of us. All of us who have had a calling, an internal flame of wanting to be more creative in real time.

Also we do offer a free trial for a week and if you feel it is not for you we do want you to cancel. We want you to be happy and delighted and excited to draw. We are also working to have your local library offer ShadowDraw for free. Is that something that would interest you?
