Description
SiteSucker is a Macintosh application that automatically downloads Web sites from the Internet. It does this by asynchronously copying the site's webpages, images, PDFs, style sheets, and other files to your local hard drive, duplicating the site's directory structure.
SiteSucker can be used to make local copies of Web sites. By default, SiteSucker "localizes" the files it downloads, allowing you to browse a site offline, but it can also download sites without modification.

Klasse Tool, jeden Cent wert
Sehr, sehr hilfreiches Tool, das ich schon seit vielen Jahren kenne und und immer wieder mal nutze. Ist normalerweise nichts, das man täglich braucht, aber wenn, dann erspart es einem viel Zeit und Mühe. Es kann sich also schon mit einer einzigen Nutzung bezahlt machen. Dazu ist es einfach bedienbar und rasant schnell: URL und Zielordner angeben, ein paar Sekunden warten - und schon hat man die betreffende Site komplett mit allen Dateien zur Offline-Nutzung lokal auf seinem Rechner. Die einfachsten Ideen sind eben oft die besten - und überdauern häufig am längsten. Auf SiteSucker trifft diese Binsenweisheit auf jeden Fall zu.
Überaus hilfreicher App Support
Meine Anfrage nach den Einstellungen für eine Beschränkung des Downloads auf pdf-Dateien wurde schnell, umfassend und verständlich beantwortet. So macht die App doch gleich noch viel mehr Freude.
