Description
We’ve rebuilt our Mirror app from the ground up to offer a more flexible, reliable and feature-rich experience with Sketch.
With Sketch on your iPhone or iPad, you can:
→ Sign in to every Workspace you’re a part of (with SSO and 2FA support)
→ Browse projects and explore documents — anywhere, anytime
→ Play prototypes and test out ideas on a real device
→ Mirror the document you’re currently editing on your Mac
→ Explore documents with a full canvas view
→ View, create and respond to comments on the Canvas
→ Browse documents you’ve already opened when you‘re offline
→ Open local documents from the Files or other third-party file storage apps
This app requires an internet connection, an existing Sketch subscription and works exclusively with documents in your Sketch Workspace. This app is not compatible with Mac-only licenses.

This update makes sure documents you view and mirror are fully compatible with the latest changes in Sketch Mac app.

Local Sync?
When will the new app start working again with the Mac app through local Wi-Fi, like the old Mirror app? I use Sketch more “offline” and not much in the cloud.

Hello there! As you are pointing out, this is not possible with our new App (just documents stored in your Workspace can be mirrored, so unfortunately, there’s no “offline mode”). Nahezu unbrauchbar
Extreme Verzögerungen beim Öffnen und Anzeigen von Files. Display geht ständig in den Ruhezustand. Produktivitätskiller.

I loved this app
When you’re designing an E-Mail oder mobile Website you constantly check if the typo is right and make small adjustments. The best way is just connect the cable to your phone and check instantly. This feature is now gone. This App is now useless to me if it does not work for local files as well.

Hello there! We rely on Workspace documents to preview designs, so after uploading your file, you will only have to sign in to the App, and the document will appear instantly there to be viewed. I understand that being unable to mirror local documents may be inconvenient, so I will speak with the team and pass the feedback internally. Cheers 🙏
