The Sleep app is designed to help you meet your sleep goals, including getting enough sleep, getting to bed on time and even creating a pre-bedtime routine. You can easily track your sleep and wake up in the morning with alarm sounds or haptics. The Sleep experience includes bedtime reminders, wake-up alarms, sleep tracking, Sleep Focus, Wind Down and a view of your sleep trends over time.

Features

• Set a sleep schedule to help you meet your sleep goals and get to bed on time.

• Track your sleep stages and how much you sleep when you wear Apple Watch to bed. Apple Watch uses data from the accelerometer and heart rate sensor to determine what stage of sleep you are in.

• Turn on Sleep Focus to turn off the display and help reduce distractions. Tapping the screen dimly displays time, date and morning alarm.

• Use Wind Down to help you relax before heading to bed. Sleep Focus is also enabled during Wind Down to help you meet your sleep goals.

• Wake up to gentle sounds or a haptic wake-up alarm so you don’t disturb anyone else around you.

• Receive a wake-up screen each morning with today’s weather forecast and current battery life so you can remember to charge.

• Review sleep statistics in the Health app on iPhone including sleep times, sleep stages, sleep goals, respiratory rate and sleeping heart rate.

Der Anfang ist jedenfalls gemacht!

Die App ist leider noch nicht wirklich ausgereift.
Die Daten sind nicht detailliert genug und der Schlafphasenwecker fehlt gänzlich, was für mich mit der Spannendste Teil wäre.
Die Umsetzung wäre theoretisch recht einfach ( das sagt ein Laie 😅 ), wenn man die Daten aufschlüsseln würde.
Ich hoffe sehr oder nein, ich wünsche mir sehr, dass Apple das noch hin bekommt!

Leider unzureichende Auswertung

Ich würde mich sehr darüber freuen, wenn die App bessere Daten liefern würde wie auch andere Uhren oder Fitnesstracker, also zum Beispiel die Aufteilung der Schlafphasen in leicht, tief und REM Schlaf. Leider zeichnet die App auch nicht immer sauber auf, wann man wirklich ins Bett gegangen ist. Ich wünsche mir eine viel bessere Entwicklung der App damit auch besseren Nutzen daraus ziehen kann.
