Now You can easily find metallic objects that are hidden underground, behind walls etc. , or be a treasure hunter or ghost hunters, also see a reading trend through the graph.
Simple app in your device called Gauss Meter are used for measuring the Earth's magnetic field but can't detect silver, gold, copper coins (non-ferrous - no magnetic field).
This Magnetometer app require a magnetic sensor otherwise does not work.

Schöne kleine Ergänzung
Ich kann diese App für Schatzsucher wie mich nur empfehlen . Wenn man Metall sucht sollte man sich denn noch einen normalen Krückendetektor und einen Stabdetektor kaufen . Jedoch ist diese App sehr gut geeignet um die bereits ausgehoben Erde nach Kleinteilchen abzusuchen . Ich weiß nicht ob es bei jedem Handy Modell unbedingt gleich gut funktioniert , jedoch funktioniert es bei meinem IPhone 7 Plus einwandfrei. Und da diese App auch noch kostenlos ist , kann ich sie besonders Anfängern fürs Schatzsuchen ans Herz legen !

Eben ein Video dazu auf TikTok gesehen und ausprobiert. Hat tatsächlich geklappt.
Inwieweit die Werte genau sind kann ich nicht sagen. Aber Unterschiede zwischen meinem Bett (aus Stahl) und dem Magneten an dem AirPot Case, sowie der Elektronik einer E-Zigarette erkennt die App.
