Bin mir nicht sicher
Zuerst klappte es. Auch ziemlich genau. Aber jetzt klappt es garnicht mehr,der zeigt nichts mehr an. Habe die App auch komplett neu gestartet, aber auf dem iPhone 5 will es plötzlich nicht mehr funktionieren :\
Klasse App und Tech-Demo!
Diese App ist unterm Strich zwar Spielerei, hat aber dennoch den WOW-Effekt. Um grob einen Raum auszumessen oder um einfach nur herauszufinden, wie weit die Wand entfernt ist, vor die andere Rezensionen-Verfasser gelaufen sind, reicht diese App alle male.
Bei Distanzen von <4 Metern habe ich cm-genaue Ergebnisse gehabt. Bei größeren Distanzen 2-3 cm Abweichung. Aber ich denke mal, dass das nur eine Einstellungssache ist und ich da noch besser kalibrieren kann. Sooo viel Zeit und Nerv hatte ich noch nicht um daran rumzufrickeln.
Wichtig ist, die App zu verstehen und sich die Tipps aus dem Video und von den anderen Usern zu Herzen zu nehmen. Einfach nur die App starten und iPhone in Richtung Wand halten klappt nämlich nicht.
Eine Frage der Einstellung
Erst war ich ein wenig enttäuscht, bis ich mich mit den, an sich einfachen, Einstellungsmöglichkeiten befasst habe. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es sich hierbei um ein "proof of concept", einen Versuch oder besser Spielerei handelt, die nicht den "Zollstock", bzw. "Gliedermaßstab" :-) ersetzen soll.
Dafür misst sie auf auf Entfernungen bis mehrere Meter zentimetergenau. Vorausgesetzt, die Punkte links am Spektrum sind korrekt auf auf Start, Ende und Peak justiert. Auch die Hand(siehe Einführungsvideo) am Phone und die Justierung der Klicklänge (lang / kurz) muss passen. Das ist binnen Sekunden(!) eingestellt. Klasse App!
