Wunderbare Arbeit. Für die ich durchaus zu zahlen bereit wäre. Ein Jahresabo habe ich allerdings bislang ausgeschlagen, da es mittlerweile so viele Apps gibt, die diese Preisklasse beanspruchen. Und das läppert sich zu sehr, ggü. früher oft Einmalzahlung von 1-3 € für eine App werden nun mit Abo 100-fach höhere Preise aufgerufen, sodass ich aussortieren muss. Ich weiß natürlich nicht, ob mit 20 €/a, was es mir wert wäre, auch für die Entwickler ein anständiges Geschäft gemacht werden kann. Ich verstehe, dass in der Betreuung der App viel Arbeit zu leisten ist.2 Punkte gibt es aber, die mich täglich stören und warum ich dann doch wieder mit Apple Mail arbeite(n muss):1) Beim Senden passiert es oft, dass eine E-Mail nach Verlassen der App noch nicht gesendet wurde und man bekommt dann eine Anzeige, dass man nochmals in die App gehen muss und warten muss, bis die E-Mail verschickt wurde. So etwas hat eine App wirklich automatisch zu leisten und nicht meine Zeit hierfür unnütz zu beanspruchen. Das muss im Hintergrund passieren, andere Apps holen sich auch die Berechtigung dafür und dann klappt das.2) Mit angehängten ICS-Dateien (also Terminen) kann Spark offenbar nach wie vor nicht umgehen. Das ist freilich ein häufig benötigtes Feature, um sich Termine einfach abspeichern zu können. In Spark führt das regelmäßig nur zur Fehlermeldung.

Gute App, aber mir fehlt noch...

Die App ist schon ganz gut. Aber für die volle Punktzahl fehlen mir noch ein paar wichtige Punkte.E-Mails dürfen nicht automatisch auf gelesen gesetzt werden. In den Einstellungen hätte ich gern eine Option, dass ich E-Mails manuell auf gelesen setzen muss. Oft schaue ich nur kurz in die Mail rein und bearbeite diese später. Dadurch wird aktuell die E-Mail automatisch auf gelesen gesetzt.Wenn mehrere E-Mails aus einer Konversation zusammengefasst werden, steht ganz oben die älteste Mail und ganz unten die neueste Mail. Ich hätte das gern genau umgekehrt. So muss ich nicht mehr durch die gesamte Konversation scrollen.Im Posteingang wünsche ich mir im Header der Mail die Anzeige des Profilbildes neben der Absenderadresse, wenn der Absender bei mir in den Kontakten gespeichert ist.Also liebe Entwickler. Bitte schnell umsetzen und Ihr bekommt die volle Punktzahl.
Früher top, jetzt überladen, instabil und teuer

Früher mein absoluter Favorit für Mails, der smarte Posteingang ein tolles Feature. Dann wurde der Umfang der App deutlich erweitert und die kostenpflichtige Premium-Version entwickelt. Die Aussage, dass die ursprünglichen Funktionen weiterhin kostenlos sind, ist schön, allerdings wird man immer wieder auf Premium hingewiesen. Beispielsweise die Gate-Funktion, mit der sich unerwünschte Mails blocken lassen (wenn man mindestens $4,99 im Monat zahlt): in der kostenlosen Version kann man keine Absender blocken, muss aber gewünschte Absender freigeben, falls nicht dauerhaft ein Viertel des Displays für die entsprechende Abfrage „geopfert“ werden soll. Das ist nicht besonders tragisch und könnte man verkraften, wenn durch die vielen neuen (ungenutzten, teuren und für das private Umfeld überwiegend sinnlosen) Zusatzfunktionen die Stabilität der App dramatisch schlechter geworden wäre! Bei ca. jedem fünften Aufruf schließt die App plötzlich - zum Glück ist mir das noch nicht beim Schreiben einer Mail passiert, dann würde ich definitiv die App nicht mehr nutzen. Zumindest wissen die Entwickler auch um die Probleme und es gibt ständig Updates.Das Preismodell mit den zwei Möglichkeiten kostenlos oder 60€ jährlich finde ich extrem unausgewogen. Einzelne Funktion (wie Gatekeeper) würde ich für einen angemessenen Preis kaufen, aber da Abo der Premium-Version, mit ihren ganzen Team-Features, ist völlig überzogen. Schade!
