Tut was es soll

Die App lässt sich wunderbar bedienen. Eine kleine Anmerkung oder Wunsch ist dennoch vorhanden.
Beim Verfassen von Beiträgen prangt das Kommentarfeld unterhalb des Titels und oberhalb des Textfeldes. Ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Ansonsten alles prima.

Super für kleine Änderungen unterwegs!

Die App funktioniert wirklich gut um besonders die mobile Seite zu bearbeiten. Allerdings fehlt hier, wie auch bei anderen Squarespace Apps der iPad Support. Das wäre für unterwegs wirklich die perfekte Lösung.

Schön aber uneffizient für die Gastronomie

Schön und einfach, Templates wenig aber exclusive und modern.

Es ist aber spezifisch für Shops gedacht.
Nicht für die Gastronomie. Es Fehlen viele wichtige Kleinigkeiten, wie online Order.
Auch im Laden abholen ist nicht möglich für die Gastronomie. Denn es fehlen die Abholzeit Zeit Angabe, Vorreservierungen, Sonderwünsche etc.

Also für Gastronomen ist squarespace nicht gedacht. Das hat mit den Support bestätigt.
Für mich sind Funktionen wichtiger als Design.

Bearbeiten der Webseite auf dem Ipad ein Desaster

Seit dem letzten großen Update, bei dem die Bearbeitungsfunktion etwas unter „Pages“ versteckt wurde, ist das Bearbeiten der Webseite über das Ipad unbrauchbar geworden.

Mit Ach und Krach lassen sich die einzelnen Unterseiten meistens erst im fünften Versuch laden.

Momentan schaffe ich es nicht mehr, Änderungen über das Ipad vorzunehmen. Egal ob Zugriff über die App oder Safari - hier wird man immer auf die App zum Bearbeiten verwiesen.

Squarespace an sich super - aber es kann doch nicht sein, dass man nicht eine gescheite App für ein Ipad Pro M2 bereitstellt, die den vollwertigen Desktop Umfang zur Bearbeitung der Webseite erfüllt.
Schade für die verpasste Chance!

Please bring back a new and improved Portfolio for iPad Pro!

The new app is super annoying, it’s much too small to view at the designed format and fails to support a native or reasonable resolution for an iPad.

The Portfolio app was far from wonderful, but at least I could view unpublished work in meetings easily. The password setup on the website failed to ever function for me.

Please fix this soon! Hopefully these are just growing pains and I can come back and give the five stars like I would for the platform.

Die wichtigsten Funktionen fehlen

„Es ist nicht möglich, Blöcke in Abschnitten des Kreativen Editors hinzuzufügen oder zu bearbeiten, einschließlich der Aktualisierung von Seitentext.“

Was bitte soll man den sonst mit der App machen?

Nur noch Abstürze

Momentan ist es unmöglich mit der App vom iPhone aus zu arbeiten.

Actually the worst website builder out there

Not only does it take a looooot of patience (black screen, endless loading) it also is not intuitive at all and makes normal processes a pain in the a**.
Just to create a button you need to go through endless explanations, download a new version and you still didn’t start designing.
Worst of them all for sure.
The mobile version is so bad not responding to designs at all and needs to be reloaded or closed to refresh updates, and that’s just the smallest problem.
Try it yourcellf but don’t destroy your phone I warned you !

Not useful on iPhone

It’s sad what has become of the blogging feature. Squarespace used to have a special app for that but for a while now it’s integrated in the main app. Poorly integrated, I must add. Creating blogposts is the most important use case on the Phone, but so many things don’t work. Tried to embed a video into a blog post but you don’t see the URL field nor can you blindly paste the URL as there is no paste button available. You can’t select media already stored in Squarespace, as in the desktop version. Only to name two issues…

Used to work, gets buggier with every update

Since I need to manage a squarespace-hosted website at my job, I‘m bound to use this app. Our former website-hoster‘s app worked perfectly, and the squarespace pendant did it‘s job ok but gets worse with every update! Now I can‘t even change a link or linked document without getting an error that forces the app to reload the page without any changes. The only thing left working is plain text editing...
Paying a lot of money for a webhoster that doesn‘t even get an app right would make me change my provider - if I only could.
