- Updated neural network architecture: The neural network architecture has undergone two updates and is currently in its 8th version.
- Removal of handcrafted evaluation (HCE): This release marks the removal of the traditional handcrafted evaluation and the transition to a fully neural network-based approach.
- Dual NNUE: For the first time, Stockfish includes a secondary neural network, used to quickly evaluate positions that are easily decided.

to review games and see all the moves one could have done much better :D
Starke Engine, einfach zu installieren & bedienen
Über die Stärke der engine muss man wenig sagen. Gibt vermutlich kaum jemanden der auch nur annähernd eine Chance hat gegen die Stockfish engine. Die UI ist simpel, aber gut zu bedienen. Minimalistisch, sag ich mal. Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: (1) Eine “play against self” option wäre nett, bei der man z.B. festlegen kann dass die CPU jeweils N Züge vorausrechnet, dann einen Zug macht, und dann die Gegenseiten CPU einen Zug macht, etc. (2) In einer längeren Partie kann man nur einen Zug vor/zurück gehen, bzw ganz zum Anfang oder Ende springen. Eine Option wie z.B. “go to move N” wäre wünschenswert. Trotz der kleinen Abstriche, ganz klar 5 Sterne.
