Beautiful to look at, but too difficult to play
Hi there,
this app tells a story in the most beautiful way i have seen for a long time. First of all, well done. Unfortunately the developers did not learn from Altos Odysee. The controls are clunky. Especially the gameplay mechanics of swiping to get another tool for overcoming the obstacles with the car is really not fitting into the game and does not enhance the fun. I miss all the beautiful scenery because i have to swipe all the time like an idiot to get the right combination of tools for the next obstacle. I hope the developers remove that mechanic because it hinders fun, not enhances it. It is suffice to have 3 or 4 controls at the screen and use them for the jump and drive aspect of the game, please do not burden the player with this swiping thing.
Will update my rating if the developers take a little more inspiration from Alto control-wise, because otherwise this could be much better and a lot more beautiful to play than Alto.
