Description
Swiss Pro Map is the map app for Switzerland and the Alpine region: offline maps and useful functions for outdoor activities such as mountain sports, hiking, cycling and aviation.
Maps such as the Swiss National Map, as well as objects on the map, such as hiking trails, public transport stops incl. timetable, SAC huts, parking spaces, location descriptions and much more, once loaded, remain usable offline on the device.
The app supports important functions for outdoor activities such as altitude display, distance and area measurement, search for locations and coordinates, route recording, import and export, offline route planning, etc.
Swiss Pro Map is free for two weeks from installation. After that, a subscription is required for unlimited use:
* The subscription enables unlimited use of the app and finances its maintenance and further development.
* It is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
* Price of the yearly subscription: See In-App-Purchases
* You will be charged with the payment method specified for your Apple ID
* The subscription will automatically renew, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
* The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
* Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the Account Settings after purchase

Erstklassig, Kartenübertragung verwirrend
Die Funktion der App ist hervorragend, ich nutze sie auf Ipad und iphone. Etwas verwirrend ist die Übertragung des Kartenmaterials. Man muss die z.B. die freigeschalteten Wanderwege bei der Neuinstallation nochmal "kaufen" bis hin zur Bestätigung mit Kennworteingabe. Erst dann kommt die Meldung, dass man die Karten bereits erworben hat und die Freischaltung erfolgt ohne nochmalige Bezahlung. Das könnte besser sein, da es doch sehr verunsichert, ob man nicht doch nochmal eine Rechnung vom Store bekommt. Was ebenfalls Verbesserungswürdig ist, ist die Abgleichung der freien Kacheln zwischen den Geräten, hier werden unterschiedliche Angaben auf Ipad und Iphone gemacht.
Aber das sind eher "Hintergrund"-Probleme, die nichts mit der eigentlichen Funktion zu tun haben, daher 5 Sterne - Top!
Ein Muss für jeden, der in der Schweiz wandert!!!!!
Das Kartenmaterial ist spitze, davon können wir in Deutschland nur träumen. Das ist das Eine.
Das Andere ist das, was aus diesem Material gemacht wurde: ein hervorragendes Werk zum Wandern.
Zuallererst sollte man die ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung lesen, die sehr verständlich verfasst ist.
Dann ist alles Weitere sehr logisch und funktioniert wie es soll.
Wenn man dieses Kartenmaterial auf seinem Handy hat, hat man gleichzeitig einen Wanderführer dabei, inkl. Bus- und Bahnfahrplan, inkl. Anregungen für Unterkünfte mit Telefonnummer. Meinetwegen könnten gerne noch ein paar Unterkünfte dazu kommen. Diese App ist ihr Geld mehr als Wert.
Sehr hilfreich
Das Kartenmaterial ist zugegeben nicht ganz billig, aber exzellent. Mit dieser App sieht ein Garmin etc. sehr blass aus. Wenn man sich auf sein Wandergebiet beschränkt braucht man nicht mal einen ganzen Kanton laden, sondern kommt mit 1000 Kacheln aus, und dann ist dass Programm sechs Sterne wert.
