Using WOL(Wake-On-Lan) protocol, which sends a packet to your devices through LAN, Swol comes to simplify its use, relying on an easy to use and minimalist design.

Swol is going through some changes :)

I'm working with a company named KaçaFalcão on a redesign for the app to bring a better experience to you.
But the main news right now are on your devices:
• Every device now has an External IP so you can wake up your device outside LAN.
• The broadcast IP (ending in 255) will no longer be used, now it'll send directly to the IP you fill.
• Minor iCloud bugfixes in conflict handling.

very good but missing detail

Very nice tool for WOL including up to date how to. Like in all other WOL tools I miss the possibility to proove the success. Please add a PING test.

Thanks for the feedback! That’s a good feature to add for sure, I’m working on the redesign of the app so the next update will probably take a month or so to come out, and I’ll try to squeeze ping in so it’s works ASAP.

Edit: it’s been a while hahaha, got caught up with some other apps, but the redesign is done, now I’m finding time to implement it, but it should resolve this :)

Failed to send magic pocket -67636

It worked fine for me, but the last days it doesn’t. I use Swol on Mac and iPhone the settings are synchronized in iCloud. Mac still wakes my PC but iPhone run to failure
