Tangram is an ancient Chinese Puzzle Game originating from the times of the Northern Song Dynasty a millennium ago.

The Chinese name 七巧板 literally means Seven Boards of Skill. Likewise, this revamped interpretation contains seven puzzle boards 一二三四五六七 consisting of 120 puzzles each.

Toller Zeitvertreib!

Schönes, flüssiges Spiel, reduziert auf das Wesentliche!
Kein penetrantes „jetzt upgraden“, bisher keine Werbung, keine Manga- mäßigen Effekte.
Dafür würde ich sogar ein paar Euro an den Entwickler zahlen!

It‘s the best tangram app out there, no doubt! I tested all available versions of this very old chinese game (about sixth century BC), but this one is absolutely perfect . I‘m don‘t often play games on the iPhone, but this one is an exception.
Perfect handling of the single „puzzles“ and so much figures to explore.
I waited so long for this ❤️ big thanks to the maker!

Wo ist die Verbesserung?

Tangram alt:
11 MB, prima Steuerung, schöne Grafik, schönes Icon.

Tangram neu:
145 MB (!), ungelenke Steuerung, langweilige Grafik, hässliches Icon. Eine Anmutung, als käme die App aus dem Baukasten.

Schade, aber mir bringt das neue Tangram keinen Spaß.

Aw, sorry for the inconvenience caused by size, the game is gonna be thinned later on.

The new graphics indeed resonating on another frequency, however, I experienced that it is commonly perceived as added value.

Please note that the prequel is still available in the App Store. I think it is fair to provide a new version in addition (!) to the previous, that supports a more wide range of devices, audience and introduce more challenge.

Having the fact that you can still play the previous game as well, I personally don't think the sequel made anything worse.

I understand that the rating should reflect your own personal judgment, but unfortunately, it makes harder for other people to discover the game in your country. If any of my points above made you think somewhat different, please consider updating your review.
