Kann das Original ersetzen
Kaum vorstellbar, wie preiswert die App ist: für diese iPad-App bezahlt man einen Bruchteil dessen, was der Hardware-Rechner von TI kostet. Das iPad hat dazu Touchscreen, einen größeren Bildschirm, mehr Rechenpower und ist fast immer dabei. So kann er das Original mühelos ersetzen.
Leider ist die Bedienung etwas kompliziert. So ist es schwierig neue Nutzer zu gewinnen. Da gilt es einen Kompromiss zwischen Funktionalität und Benutzbarkeit zu finden. Wer jedoch versierter mit den Rechnern von TI ist, der kommt mit der iPad-App von Beginn an klar.
Nachdem die App regelmäßig Updates erhielt, wurde sie nun schon seit fast einem Jahr nicht mehr aktualisiert. Dabei wäre eine Anpassung an die Bildschirmgröße des iPad Pro 10,5“ wünschenswert. Hoffentlich wird diese App nicht von Texas Instruments aufs Abstellgleis gestellt!
Graphik könnte umfangreicher sein
Die CAS Software ist leicht zu bedienen und hat einen großen Funktionsumfang. Zweidimensionale Objekte wie Kreise, Polygone, etc. sollten sich aber auch per Programmierung erzeugen ud bearbeiten lassen und die Variablennamen sollten zwischen Gross- und Kleinschreibung unterscheiden können.
Ebenso sollten dreidimensionale Objekte wie Kugeln, Würfel, etc. leicht darstellbar sein.
App kommt dem Handheld gleich, ist aber kaum mit Goodnotes zu gebrauchen
Die App erfüllt bisher alle Funktionen, die der Handheld zuvor auch gezeigt hatte. Durch die QWERZ-Tastatur, den großen Touchscreen und einer besseren Übersichtlichkeit nutze ich die App mittlerweile sogar lieber.
Allerdings lassen sich Rechnungen, die anderen Programmen im iPad enthalten sind, nur schlecht übertragen. Es wird kein Splitscreen unterstützt, wodurch nur ein sehr kleines Bild der eigenen Notizen im Rechner eingeblendet wird, das auch noch entweder links- oder rechtsseitig liegt, sodass entweder Rechnung oder Ergebnis überdeckt wird.
Hier muss gerade im Hinblick auf iPadklassen nachgebessert werden, dann gebe ich gern 5/5Sterne!
