The application aggregates data from several official, public sources, including:
- Germany (approx. 170 gauges): BSH - Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie
- Netherlands (approx. 85 gauges): Rijkswaterstaat Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Milieu
The data is updated daily. You need an Internet connection to load the gauges and tide predictions.

Favouristen
Ja, ich benutze die App regelmäßig etwa 1-2x die Woche. Im Gegensatz zur Vorversion, wo manchmal die Favouriten verloren gingen, sind diese jetzt immer weg. Ärgerlich, war ein gutes Feature.
Gutes und einfaches Hilfsmittel
Die App Gezeiten macht eindeutig das was man am Urlaubsstrand der Nordsee benötigt: Sie zeigt an wann das Wasser wie hoch ist!
Konnte es bisher in Deutschland und Niederlande gut verwenden! Kann die App weiterempfehlen!
Wichtig ist das sie im Ausland Zugriff auf die Server der Küsteninstitutionen benötigt , also besorgt euch ein Datenpaket oder wie in NL geht zum meist freien WLAN der Paal Pavilions :-)
Fehlende Stationen
wenn man zusätzlich zur App noch einen Tidenkalender benutzen muss, dann macht die App keinen Sinn . Für mich fehlen z.B. :
