Die Herangehensweise ist grundsätzlich etwas anders als bei gängigen Amp Sims. Man sucht eher nach einer Band oder Song um genau den Sound zu bekommen und kann den dann noch etwas anpassen.
Wenn man sich daran aber erstmal gewöhnt hat lernt man den Wert der App nach und nach immer mehr zu schätzen: Zum Beispiel kann man auch komplett eigene Presets erstellen. Sehr schick! Dass die App als eine Audio Unit in DAWs fungiert, ist ein mittelschwerer Knaller und lässt einen fragend zurück: Warum bekommt das keiner der Platzhirsche (BIAS, Amplitube, etc) auf die Kette??? Deren Apps (bzw. in App Käufe) kosten richtig Kohle und liefern am Ende nicht das, was der Mucker auf iOS/iPadOS zum gescheiten Recorden braucht. Tonebridge hingegen ist kostenfrei...WTF??? Verkehrte Welt.
Endlich: Die perfekte iPad Gitarren App
Ich habe über Jahre wirklich alles probiert, und Flying Haggis ist das beste bisher, letzten Endes ist Apple mit seinen Garagebands gar nicht so schlecht. Haggis Wird leider wohl nicht gekauft und deshalb nicht gepflegt vom Autor. Line 6 war auch gut, alle anderen (IK Multi, Bias, ... etc.) nach meinen Erfahrungen unfassbar schlecht, trotz selbstbewusstem Werbe-Auftritt. Ok das ist auch anderswo so.
Aber das hier ist unfassbar gut. Ich bin nach 2 Stunden rumprobieren der groben Möglichkeiten quasi fassungslos, das es doch sowas gibt. Kostenlos! Ok die Tabs scheinen das zu Finanzieren, oder ? Dafür würde ich deutlich mehr zahlen... Absolut BRILLIANTE APP !!!
I like it!!!!
Ich nutze die App jetzt schon recht lange und für mich ist der Vorteil, dass ich in wenigen Sekunden zu brauchbaren Sounds komme! Den Amp clean eingestellt und die App den Rest machen lassen. Mein Setup: Tokai LS2 an Vox Nighttrain (sowohl li‘l als auch der 15er head). Die analogen Effekttreter reagieren nat idealer, allerdings dauert es manchmal recht lange bis zum mit dem Original vergleichbaren Sound. Und mit der kleinen App kommt man sehr schnell auf 80% des perfekten Sounds, was beim üben oft reicht. Also ich mag‘s! 😎
