Topo GPS is a topographic mapping app. You can use it to plan routes and add points with customizable icons to the map. Created routes and points can be automatically synced with your iPhone via iCloud. You can try the app for free, but to use the app with the maps in the highest resolution, you need to purchase a map.

Verlaufen war gestern
Ich bin von dieser App wirklich begeistert. Als passionierter Radfahrer und Wanderer habe ich sie im Urlaub ausgiebig getestet. Mit dieser App kann man sich nicht mehr verlaufen, egal wie klein der Feldweg auch ist, auf dem man sich befindet. Da ich mir den benötigten Kartenausschnitt vorher auf mein Smartphone lade, habe ich auch ohne Netz immer Zugriff auf die Daten.
Den einmaligen Kaufpreis für die Karten zahle ich gerne. Wer schon einmal topographische Karten in Papierform gekauft hat, weiß, dass das, was man hier für 3,99 € oder 4,99 € bekommt, wirklich sensationell ist. Zudem ist die App werbefrei, und man zahlt keine Abogebühren.
Tolle App! Ich kann sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
Bestes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Ich habe praktisch alle Apps für Outdooraktiväten getestet, teils auch die Premiumversionen. Seit 4 Jahren nutze ich ausschließlich Topo GPS zum Wandern und Wanderreiten. Einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen, zum Planen wie Tracken, aber auch fürs spontane Orientieren zwischen durch. Ich benötige unbedingt eine ordentliche topografische Karte, auf OSM basierte andere Karten sind für mich nicht zu gebrauchen. Ja, auch in meiner Gegend sind die eingezeichneten Wege nicht immer aktuell, aber all die Zusatzinfos machen das wett (Wasser, Brunnen, Brücken, detaillierte Topografie). Außerdem finde ich die Einmalzahlung sehr sympathisch statt der sonst üblichen Abo-Modelle. Ich zahle auch gerne für ein Update des Kartenmaterials nochmal! :-)

Endlich - Topo mit toller Nutzerführung!
Großartig! Wer topographische Karten liebt und Routenvorschläge nicht braucht, ist hier bestens bedient. Außerdem ist die Nutzung dieser App - gerade auch die Streckenplanung - einfach und klar. Ich habe so an die 15 verschiedene Apps zur Navigation heruntergeladen und die Streckenplanung getestet - oft eine grauenhafte Nutzerführung erlebt, mich durch verschachtelte Menüs gekämpft, kaum sichtbare Strecken gesehen etc. etc. Fast alle mit erheblichen Abokosten. Diese App ist ihr Geld mehr als wert. Und die Alles-Umsonst-Graktion, die angesichts 3 Euros Ein-Stern- Bewertungen vergibt, soll der Teufel holen!
