Is an app that allows you to see True Solar Time in your area.

While our planet is rotating, seasons change & daylight savings vary from place to place, it is quite difficult to figure where are you at in the Universe!

True Solar Time will allow you to see sunrise, sunset & midday times according to your actual position in respect to the Sun!

„apparant“ and NOT local true sun time

When I’ve found this app I was very happy because it seems to show the beginning and end of the 30 muhurtas. Specially I was very interested in Brahma muhurta. Sure, I could also calculate it on my own, but if there’s an app, I’m also fine.

Concerning this app’s name „True“ Solar Time, it should be known that „true“ ist meant as „apparent“ and not as „local“ true solar time - which is a hugh difference.

For my purpose the app makes much less sense based on the apparent time in terms of the muhurtas.

For the user the app’s description in the AppStore in that sense is not precise enough:

„True Solar Time will allow you to see sunrise, sunset & midday times according to your actual position in respect to the sun“ (may 29, 2020)

Normal users wouldn’t believe that this means that the sunrise is only calculated by local sun culmination minus six hours.
If this will be fixed, I will provide more stars.

It has to be said, that the app’s maker try to contact me what is fine, but I couldn’t contact him on my own, because using the AppStore’s link I only got the mistake 404.

The app displays “True” Sunset and Sunrise time - which rarely matches actual (visible) time of Sunset and Sunrise.

“True” time doesn’t change with the seasons, it is always exactly 6 hours from the actual Noon.
