Version 1.7
• When adding a new item where a receipt has been added inside the New Item Panel or creating a new item from a receipt in the Inbox, you can use the Select Receipt Text button to select text from the receipt and use it to set the value of the field. This is available for most text fields, date fields, and currency fields.
• The Select Receipt Text feature is also available when editing an existing item that already has a receipt.
• If you add a receipt inside the New Item Panel or use the Inbox to add a new item from a receipt, Under My Roof will try to automatically seed the Purchased From and Purchase Date fields from text it finds in the receipt.
• You can now add receipts from the Inbox from inside the New Item Panel.
• You can also add photos from the Inbox from inside the New Item Panel.
• Under My Roof now prompts you on whether or not to delete the Inbox entries used when creating a new item from the Inbox or adding a photo, receipt, or attachment from the Inbox.
• Fixed an issue where the default field values in the New Item Panel may not be set as expected when adding a new item to a container item.
• Fixed a bug in Reports where the main photo of an item needs to start on the next page can overlay the information for the item that follows it.
• Fixed a bug where only the first photo would be imported for a location when importing a .hi3 file.
• Fixed a bug that could result in repeated notifications for maintenance tasks under certain circumstances.

Under My Roof is our go-to app for organizing a home, whether we’re inventorying belongings, tracking supplies and repairs, keeping an eye on warranties, or cataloging a collection. Enter details manually or scan receipts and documents—the app stores everything important, including photos for insurance purposes. You can even use your iPhone to measure objects or to scan a room and create a 3D layout. Fair warning: Once you get started, you may find yourself documenting everything!
Leistung gegenüber Home Inventory stark verbessert.
Die etwas andere Bedienung der App gegenüber Home Inventory hat mich zunächst irritiert; nach kurzer Einübung ist die Bedienung aber ebenso leicht und schnell gelernt. Endlich kann man die Felder (custom fields, default fields layout) beliebig erweitern und den persönlichen Bedürfnissen viel besser anpassen - jetzt eine echte Datenbankanwendung. Auch der Funktionsumfang hat sich gegenüber Home Inventory sehr erweitert: Repairs, Changes, Maintenance ... Ich bin froh, dass ich mich für dieses neue verbesserte Programm entschieden habe, und ich finde, es ist jeden Cent wert. Ich habe das Programm bereits weiterempfohlen.
Deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber Home Inventory
Der Import der Daten aus Home Inventory verlief problemlos und war einfach. Alle meine Daten aus Home Inventory wurden korrekt importiert (inkl. Bilder, PDF-Rechnungen usw.).
Mit der Bedienung von Under My Roof bin ich auf Anhieb klar gekommen.
Bei den Einstellungen würde ich jedem empfehlen, von Anfang an die bestmögliche Qualität einzustellen. Heutzutage hat man ja keine Speicherplatz-Probleme mehr. Max Photo Size: Actual Size

Toll ist, dass man jetzt endlich eigene Felder anlegen kann. Das ist eine deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber dem Vorgänger Home Inventory. Allein schon deshalb würde ich jedem den Umstieg auf Under My Roof empfehlen.
Fazit: Ein sehr gutes Programm, dass jeden Cent wert ist. Dafür zahle ich gerne den Abo-Preis.
