INTERACTIVE NOTIFICATIONS
You don't need to open the app to unlock your Mac. Unlox Intelligently sends notifications when one of your connected Macs is woken up, which you can action directly from your iOS lock screen using either your fingerprint, face or passcode.
AUTHORISE
Action notifications when tasks require your macOS admin password, like moving protected files to Trash or changing a setting. (Admin accounts only)
AUDIO CONTROLS

Unlox 3.0.4:
- Provides a fix to stop Unlox for iOS' underlying database file from growing way too large, eventually crashing the app.
- Provides a fix for people who's database files were too large to load into the app, causing the app to crash before Unlox for iOS could apply the regular fix added. Unfortunately the only fix for this once it's crashing is to delete the underlying database file, so you'll need to set up again if this affects you. Apologies!
- Fixes the widget not working correctly with Dark Mode.
- Improves Unlox for watchOS, but I would like to completely re-write the Apple Watch app to make it faster and more useful..

Funktioniert, aber umständlich – Tap to Unlock am besten
Die iOS-App und die Mac-Companion-App funktionieren bei mir, wie sie sollen. Es ist am Ende aber trotzdem zu umständlich, 1) zum iPhone zu greifen, 2) die Notification anzutippen, 3) das iPhone zu entsperren und dann endlich 4) den Mac per Touch ID zu entsperren. In der Zeit habe ich auch mein Passwort eingegeben, und zwar ohne die Hände von der Tastatur zu nehmen. Meh. Wenn Touch ID nicht bequemer und schneller als die Passworteingabe ist, what’s the point...
Was dagegen ebenso funktioniert und tatsächlich bequemer ist, ist eine alternative Funktion der Unlox Mac-App namens Tap to Unlock. Dafür zeichnet man ein Muster aus Taps auf dem Multitouch-Trackpad auf, das auch die Anzahl der Finger berücksichtigt: 2-Finger-Tap, kurze Pause, 3-Finger-Tab, lange Pause, 4-Finger-Tab o.ä. Ob einem das sicher genug ist, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Für ein MacBook wäre es mir das nicht. Aber für meinen iMac zu Hause reicht mir das.

Einrichtung etwas umständlich, aber ansonsten funktioniert es jetzt!
Einzige Bluetooth-(un)lock App, die funktioniert!
Ich habe so ziemlich alle (auch kostenpflichtigen) Apps zum automatischen Sperren und Entsperren des Macs per Bluetooth in und außerhalb des App Stores durchprobiert - diese ist die einzige, die für mich überhaupt funktioniert, und das recht zuverlässig!
Einziges Manko: Das Entsperren klappt meist sofort, in vielen Fällen sperrt sich kurz danach der Bildschirm aber noch einmal - nicht weiter schlimm, dann tippt man halt noch mal kurz in der Unlox-App (die dann ja sowieso schon geöffnet ist) auf unlock.
Meine Geräte: MacBook Air M1 mit Monterey, iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 15.3.1.
