Convenient and efficient operation of your heating system.
The Viessmann Vitotrol app allows you to operate Viessmann heating systems with Vitotronic control units. Operation of the app is simple, easy, and convenient from anywhere and at any time of the day. The Vitotrol app has a context-sensitive help function.
The Vitotrol app will provide access to the following functions of the Vitotronic heating circuit control unit:
• Easy setting of the heating program, set room temperature, domestic hot water temperature, holiday program and time program.
• Clear display of the operating parameters, including all relevant temperatures.
• Display of efficiency data, including solar yield and hours run.
To use all the functions of the Vitotrol app, the Viessmann Vitocom 100 type LAN1 communication device and a DSL router are required.
The Vitotrol app now contains the integrated Showcase functionality, which allows access to a simulated Viessmann heating system.
Shutdown support for out of date Vitotrol App version 4.1.x
Are you using Vitotrol App with out of date software version (Version 4.1.x or older) on your mobile device? Then please read the following:
The support of the old software version will end in December 2015! Then the affected users will not be able to connect to their Vitocoms or receive any notifications on their mobile devices any more. The use of Vitodata on "vitodata100.com" is independent from that and is still available.
Since August 2014, Vitotrol App Version 4.2.x (Actual Version 4.2.1) has been available for Apple devices.
Besides, the new major release Version 4.3.x was published in December 2015.
The affected users should do the following steps to reactivate their Vitotrol App again:
- Please update the Vitotrol App or reinstall it on your mobile device.
• For Updating, please read the update instructions for apps on your mobile device.
• For Reinstalling, please start Apple Store (iPhone or iPad) and search for "Vitotrol App". Then, follow the recommended steps. After installation, please start the Vitotrol App. Log in once again to your Vitotrol App.
Then you can use your Vitotrol App again.

Diese App hat im showcase eine wunderbar klar und übersichtlich konzipierte Darstellung mit vielen Funktionen. Leider lässt sich meine Vitodens 300W nicht mit der App verbinden.
Laut Aussage von Vissmann Kundendienst wird nur noch die ViCare App unterstützt, die weitaus weniger Funktionen anbietet und grafisch längst nicht auf dem Niveau der Vitotrol App spielt. Hier hat Vissmann leider ein deutliches Manko, was vom Management offensichtlich kaum beachtet wird.
Nutzbar, mit Potential...
Nachdem die verschlimmbesserte ViCare-App kaum noch die Steuerung unserer Heizungsanlage ermöglicht, hat sich die Vitotrol-App als Retter in der Not erwiesen. Auch wenn die Nutzung bzw. die Steuerung nicht immer selbsterklärend ist, so kann sie dennoch die Änderung der Heizparameter verarbeiten und hält auch mit der Energieverbrauchsauswertung ein nicht uninteressantes Feature parat.
Ebenso kann man mal schnell eine Speicherladung initiieren, wenn außerhalb der programmierten Heizzeiten Warmwasser benötigt wird. Mit der ViCare war das nicht mehr möglich.
Gänzlich unverständlich ist aber eine jüngst von einem Viessmann-Entwickler verlautbarte Mitteilung, dass der ViCare-App die Zukunft gehören soll und Bestandteile der Vitotrol sukzessive dort eingebunden werden sollen. Wenn dieses Prinzip auch beim Bau des BER (soll mal der neue Flughafen in Berlin werden) die Handlungsleitlinie definiert, dann wundert mich gar nichts mehr....
Ärgerlich
Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
die App Vitotrol Plus ist unverständlich mangelhaft.
Steigt der W-lan Kontakt meiner Heizung mal aus, was gelegentlich vorkommt, und gebe ich genau in diesem Moment einen Befehl ein, ist das Problem da: Die App meldet ein Problem, steigt aus und nie wieder ein. Ich muss jedesmal nach einem solchen Fehler die App neu herunterladen. Für mich ärgerlich und nicht nachvollziehbar.
