Bekanntes Gameplay in Blizzard Qualität
Das Spielprinzip ist nichts neues und sticht nicht wirklich heraus. Allerdings ist es qualitativ hochwertig was Grafik, Sound und Bedienung angeht. Man bekommt das was man von Blizzard erwartet. Besonderer Pluspunkt ist das die Monitarisierung. Hier wird nicht einfach ständig Werbung geschaltet was nochmals einen besseren Gesamteindruck macht. Für zwischendurch was cooles mit dem gewohnt vertrauten Warcraft-Charme.
Sehr seltsame Schwierigkeitskurve…
In den ersten paar Std. Spielzeit hatte ich noch jede Menge Spaß, aber dann wurde aus Spaß ganz plötzlich Frust. Denn anstatt wie gewöhnlich die Schwierigkeit über das Level der Einheiten zu skalieren, hat man sich offenbar dazu entschieden den AI Gegner zusätzlich ab einer gewissen Stufe "schummeln" zu lassen. Ich war zuerst völlig perplex als ich plötzlich nicht mehr in der Lage war, weitere Stufen zu meistern, obwohl meine Einheiten ein deutlich höheres Level hatten. Ich brauchte 2 Anläufe, um zu realisieren, dass mein Gegner plötzlich nicht mehr nach denselben Regeln spielte und deutlich schneller Gold regenerierte, als ich. Ich begreife einfach nicht den Sinn hinter diesem System, da das Hochleveln der Einheiten den Fortschritt ohnehin bereits stark verlangsamt. Das sorgt einfach nur für unnötigen Frust und weckt Zweifel an den eigenen Fähigkeiten. Ansonsten ist es eigentlich eine sehr solide Umsetzung des bekannten Spielprinzips. Habe es aber dennoch wieder deinstalliert, da ich keine Lust habe, mich über sowas zu ärgern. Ein Videospiel sollte mMn in erster Linie Spaß machen und keinen Frust verursachen.
spass bis zum Punkt wo die KI cheatet
Anfangs macht das Spiel wirklich noch Spass auch wenn etwas mal nicht auf Anhieb klappt. Allerdings ab einem gewissen Punkt geht es hier nicht mehr fair zu da die KI im Prinzip schummelt. Die KI kann schickt starke Einheiten ohne Ende raus und macht selbst Einheiten auf höheren Level schnell kurzen Prozess und man weiss nicht mehr wo man überhaupt noch verteidigen angreifen soll. Nachträglich wurde der Schwierigkeitsgrad einiger Level auch noch erhöht (2 Monate alte Guides zeigen hier zumindest noch ein schaffbares und anderes gameplay auf gleichem Level). Das Leveln aus den Missionen raus ist recht langsam und soll wohl zusaetzlich zum Kauf anregen, was an sich noch ok ist (Geld für Zeitersparniss, aber bezahlen oder auf nicht absehbare Zeit grinden um eine cheatende KI zu besiegen). Für zusaetzlichen Frust sorgen die Abstürze im Dungeon. Eigentlich ein schoenes Spiel, aber eigentlich sollten Spiele auch Spass machen. PvP habe ich noch nicht getestet soll wohl ein paar mehr XP geben, aber zumindest in Streams etc. sieht man immer nur die gleichen 2-3 Meta-Decks.
