Sehr schöne Übersicht. Vor allem die Möglichkeit der frei definierbaren Felder ist super. Synchronisation zwischen den an iCloud geknüpften Geräten funktioniert toll. Auch der PDF Export ist eine schöne nützliche Funktion

Auch hier wird die App durch ein Abo für Bestandskunden abgewertet.
Der Entwickler schreibt nur, dass für ehemalige Käufer gewisse Funktionen ohne Zahlung erhalten bleiben. Welche sind das?
In der iOS-Version wird bereits das Abo eingeblendet, ist jedoch fehlerhaft oder deaktiviert. Verwirrend!
Und ich möchte bitte auch kein Abo abschließen müssen, um die nun eingeführten Werbebanner auszublenden.
Für jeden, der die App vor der Abo-Ankündigung geladen hat, sollte zumindest der Status-Quo OHNE ABO erhalten bleiben. Das heisst, alle bisherigen Funktionen bleiben erhalten und auf die Werbung wird ebenfalls verzichtet.
Im Übrigen sehen die Geschäftsbedingungen des App-Stores auch einen entsprechenden Schutz der Kunden vor. In diese Falle sind zuletzt auch größere App-Anbieter getappt und sie sind sehr schnell wieder zurückgerudert.
Ich kann verstehen, wenn der Entwickler mit der App ein Einkommen generieren möchte. Die Methode ist jedoch sehr fragwürdig. Es wirkt, als würde man mit moderaten Preisen für den Kauf der Software Kunden binden wollen, um sie dann zu "melken", wenn sie sich in einer Lock-in - Situation befinden.

You decided to leave a one star review here and on the iOS App Store which means you got really upset about the recent changes and since that really affected Watch Case ratings, I decided to respond in a longer form. From the description of your message I assume that the only reason for your review is a very optional payment of $10 I introduced recently.

You're also welcome to reach out to me directly via email so I can clarify your doubts. ( my address is in the Settings section of Watch Case).

Your review is quite long and unfortunately focuses on the payment only so it won't be of much help to users who actually don't mind a free app with optional payments. However a few key points are: 
1. Watch Case is free and I did state in the app that all the features you're enjoying now will remain free.
2. Watch Case doesn't lock you in since you can export your data at any point as PDFs.
3. Watch Case gives you a very generous free tier without limiting any features you got so far. You can assume each free feature of the app will get better over time... but not that you will be locked away or that the feature will disappear.
4. If you would like to to use arguments based purely on our money exchange then I should let you know that you didn't pay for any new features I will be adding to Watch Case so as a developer of the app, I do have the right to not give it to you for free. Watch Case is a free app for quite some time now. In case you paid for it in the past, you did pay for software at the time of the payment and future free/paid updates are purely under my discretion. That is exactly why I decided to add the subscription model and ask to be paid for my work.
5. In on of the watch forums you accused me of tempering in Reviews and that some of them disappeared. I assure you that this never happened and as a developer who uses Apple's systems I have absolutely no power to delete/remove/change or hide individual reviews. That is false on your end and I would appreciate if you could correct your claims on the uhrforum. 

I'm gathering that you already uninstalled the app from all of your devices and won't be using it anymore. In case you ever want to come back, your collection is managed through iCloud so it is secure and waiting for you. Hopefully one day a $10/year won't be such a huge barrier for managing the collection of your wrist watches but for now... I wish you luck finding a more full-featured app that will be able to manage your collection for a better price.
