WireTap uses your iPhone’s built-in microphone to record your guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, voice and well… basically any musical instrument you can think of. While it’s built-in peak meter ensures a perfect sounding take every single time. From there you can tag, name, group and trim your recordings or even share them with your friends, all via the app, giving you an unprecedented fast and fluent workflow. Kaum Nutzen

Diese App macht keinen Sinn:
Wieso soll ich über ein Pedal aufnehmen, wenn ich ein Handy habe? Wieso noch ein Gerät?
Oder wieso soll ich einen Riff aufnehmen, auf dem nur die Gitarre zu hören ist? Was mache ich mit der Aufnahme? Anderen zeigen? Wozu? Oder als Loop verwenden? Da macht man jeden Schlagzeuger unglücklich und das Ganze wird mühsam.
Die App bietet außerdem nicht mehr Funktionalität als der Voice Recorder auf IOS.
Habe die App nach etwas Ausprobieren gleich runtergeschmissen.

ABER TC hat eine ANDERE echt coole App: der PolyTune Tuner: ein echter Hammer! Und der Clip für die Gitarre ist genial !!!

Nice pedal, terrible app

Crashes/freezes when trying to close the control to send a recording if you decide not send. Crashes/freezes when saving trimmed recordings. Doesn’t have any obvious way to delete recordings, not those on the pedal itself, and also not those that are stored in the app.

A recording device control app that can’t delete, and struggles to edit and export, is disappointing.

Abandonware

The concept is great but it was abandoned by TC electronic. Stay away from it and the associated pedal
