The Workday app provides secure, mobile access to your Workday applications on-the-go.
As an employee, our simple interface allows you to

And if your mobile device is ever lost or stolen, you can be confident that your data is secure. With support for Touch ID and Face ID, only you can access your information.
Note: Your organization must authorize access to the Workday mobile app. You will only have access to mobile features your organization has enabled, based on your role (not all mobile features may be available to you).

Gute App leider kein direkter App Support
Die App ist gut und einfach gehalten, ist jedoch an der ein oder anderen Stelle verbesserungsbedürftig. Leider gibt es keinen direkten Kontakt zum App Entwickler um Feedback zur App zu geben. Über die Website kommt man immer nur zum Vertrieb. Es ist verständlich, dass Workday bei Problemen mit der Anmeldung nicht direkt weiterhelfen darf aber bzgl. Feedback zur App an sich wäre das schon nützlich.
Ein kleiner aber feiner Punkt ist zum Beispiel die Zeiterfassung. Macht man um 8:55 Uhr ein Check-In über die App wird einem dies beim nächsten mal als letzte Aktivität angezeigt. Diese letzt Aktivität bezieht sich allerdings nur auf die letzten 24h. Möchte man also am nächsten Tag um 8:56 einen Check-In machen, so muss man wieder alles neu auswählen. Es wäre daher wünschenswert wenn bei „letzte Aktivitäten“ tatsächlich auch die letzten Aktivitäten (ohne zeitliche Begrenzung von 24h) angezeigt werden würden.
Mobiler Zugriff ungenügend
Mobiler Zugriff: Bedienung (Eingabe über Fenster) ist teilweise nur schwer - weil im Blindflug - möglich. Zudem keine Zwischspeicherung möglich - dadurch bei Verbindungsabruch jedesmal Eingabe von vorne nötig
Hoher Nutzwert
Man kann fast alles damit machen, was als PC User in Workday geht. Auch z.B. mal schnell von unterwegs oder in einem Meeting in eine Betriebsvereinbarung oder in den Arbeitsvertrag eines der eigenen Mitarbeiter schauen. Natürlich erfordert dies - wie generell alles mobile Arbeiten mit vertraulichen Daten - Aufmerksamkeit, dass niemand anderes auf mein Mobilgerät schauen kann. Unberechtigter Zugriff ist durch Fingerprint geschützt, sehr effektiv und praktisch.
