The ZF Autos are used throughout the whole range, from the 1-Series hatchbacks, to the mighty Alpina and M cars!
While the hardware stays widely the same throughout all applications and is mainly divided in only 2 types (6HP19/21 and 6HP26/28 for 6-Speed, 8HP45/50/51 and 8HP70/75/76 for 8-Speed), the software inside the controller makes it possible to adapt the transmission, to every vehicle and mimic a wide range of driver styles. Smooth and comfy in the Luxury applications, the same transmission can be tweaked to deliver snap-on take-off behavior, surprisingly fast shift times and even race-style throttle blips on downshifts.
Tweaking your transmission is not only about getting quicker, or holding more power. An automatic transmission is deeply involved into vehicle dynamics and contributes very much to the overall driving experience. From crawling in traffic, over city driving, to taking your vehicle to the drag strip or a race track, the TCU widely defines how your car feels. Like everyone drives different with a manual, the maps inside the TCU hide the secrets to tweak your automatic transmission to your personal likings and finally experience what was once promised in the glossy brochure: Sheer driving pleasure!

Custom Map ist Wahnsinn!
Ich habe schon seit 5 Jahren auf meinem E90 die Stage 3 in Betrieb und war immer vollkommen begeistert. Aufgrund des Einbaus eines stärkeren Getriebes musste ich nun eine Custom-MAP bei xHP kaufen. Anfangs war ich natürlich nicht so begeistert, da ich nochmal einen größeren Betrag in die Hand nehmen musste. Ich muss aber echt sagen, dass es jeden Cent wert war. Man kann wirklich so gut wie alle Spielereien anfragen, am nächsten Tag war die gewünschte Revision der Map schon da. Und das alles mega freundlich und sehr kompetent. Was ich auch cool finde ist, dass Custom Maps auch bei Verbesserungen an den Stages in Zukunft berücksichtigt werden. Alles in Allem finde ich tatsächlich den Mehrpreis für eine Custom Map ggü. der Map Packs absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich würde sogar „Neulingen“ eher eine Custom Map empfehlen, wenn sehr viel Individualität einfließen soll. Vielen Dank für den jahrelangen Top Support 👍
Absolut empfehlenswert! Support auch 1A
Die App ist absolut empfehlenswert, für jeden der aus seinem Auto noch das gewisse „Etwas“ rausholen möchte. Anfangs gab es ein kleines Problem (Fehler meinerseits), was aber über den Klassen Support gelöst wurde. Die App ist an sich sehr übersichtlich und einfach aufgebaut.
Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen.
Edit: Problem wurde wohl behoben
Leider kommt seit heute direkt eine Fehlermeldung beim starten der App und dann stürzt sie ab:( Allgemein zu xHP: Das beste was es mMn gibt, fahre seit über einem Jahr die Stage 3 auf meinem 6zyl Diesel, die Performance im Vergleich zur Seriensoftware ist nicht zu vergleichen 🙏🏻
