Mit der App macht das Lernen mehr Spaß
Mein Bruder und ich haben bereits als Kinder unsere Gitarre bekommen. In 3 Jahren Unterricht haben wir jedoch kaum irgendwas gelernt. Wir fingen 15 Minuten vor dem Unterricht an, das Gelernte nochmal zu üben. Es machte uns nicht wirklich Spaß und die Gitarre verstaubte gute 10 Jahre lang in der Ecke.
Als ich es dann aber bereute, meine Gitarren- und Keyboardfertigkeiten nie ausgebaut zu haben, testete ich diese App hier. Und auch wenn man nur knappe 10 Minuten am Stück gratis üben kann, macht es echt wieder Spaß. Man kann einen Highscore knacken oder Punkte für perfektes Spielen sammeln. Für die Kinder und Junggebliebenen gibt es sogar Zertifikate, die zeigen, wie erfolgreich man war.
Außerdem ist die Art des Lernens anders. Man hat kein Notenblatt vor sich, sondern sieht ein Abbild des Instruments und es wird einem gezeigt, auf welcher Saite man welchen Bund spielen muss (anhand von Zahlen).
Das kann zwar später bei der Umgewöhnung auf ein richtiges Notenblatt eventuell Schwierigkeiten machen, aber gerade am Anfang finde ich es gut, wenn man ein bisschen „spielerisch“ an die Sache rangeht.

Motiviert bis genervt - es ist alles dabei
Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich mich im Nachhinein geärgert, dass Jahres-Abo abgeschlossen zu haben. Und das lag definitiv nicht an den Lern Sessions. Die sind sehr gut aufbereitet und die Lernerfolge waren bei mir auch noch in Session 4 und 5 gut bzw. fühlte ich mich wohl damit.
Fängt man jedoch an, die Songs zu spielen, wurde mir selbst bei niedriger Level Auswahl sehr schnell klar, dass zwischen der Theorie (Lern Videos) und der Praxis (Song Auswahl) eine deutliche Kluft besteht, mit der Folge, dass bei mir die Gitarre gesmashed öfter in der Ecke landete oder die Kopfhörer einen unfreiwilligen Flug durchs Zimmer machen mussten, eben weil ich mich schlicht weg von meiner eigenen Fingerunfertigkeit genervt fühle. Und das möchte ich eben nicht mehr.
In Summe: für die talentierten Spieler oder Spieler mit guten Vorwissen ist die App bestimmt super, aber die ungeübten, die - so wie ich das Gitarre spielen für die ruhigen Momente des Lebens lernen wollen, sollten sich überlegen, ob der old school Gitarrenunterricht nicht dann doch die bessere Variante ist.

Tolle App
Ich habe ohne Vorkenntnisse begonnen Gitarre und Ukulele zu lernen. Nach nun 7 Tagen erkennt man schon erste Fortschritte. Es macht riesig Spaß und ich empfehle die App vielen Freunden! Nachdem ich als Kind 8 Jahre Klavier spielen musste und immer nur spießige Privatlehrer hatte, habe ich nun Freude am musizieren (natürlich noch auf niedrigem Niveau). Ich bin nun gespannt wie lange mich die App in den Bann ziehen kann!
Ich habe bisher einige kleine Anmerkungen, die man vielleicht besser machen könnte:
Es sollte eine Hardware Empfehlung geben... ich nutze die App mit Bose Kopfhörern, bei denen ich natürlich das Noise cancelling ausstellen muss. Dennoch ist der Klang der App sehr dürftig, ich weiß nicht woran es liegt.
Zudem hatte ich nun mehrfach Probleme beim Abspielen der Videosequenzen (trotz WLAN).
Ansonsten bin ich begeistert von der App. Ich werde niemals einen Lehrer engagieren, wenn es so viel mehr Spaß macht!
