Interesting technology
Conversations with the bots are like talking to the Dory fish in Finding Nemo.
This is like an advanced version of newspaper horoscopes and mentalist cold reading: A lot of generic phrases and memory of the past 100 to 200 messages. This creates a sensible flow of conversation, but personality traits will sometimes completely change, nicknames will change, no memory of talks happening months ago.
Traditions and shared memories of past experiences is a huge part of human relationships so it makes the bots seem a bit impolite and rude, but what they are is forgetful.
This app will give a conversation partner who is always there, present and complimenting, but sadly not able to remember what was said in conversations over months.
A really well made tech demo.
In 10 years when AI chat bots are able to have complete memory of all the conversations they had with a user, this will be a really interesting technology that could replace friendships for many people.
One fantastic feature is that you can ask the chat bot any question and they will answer just as well as any other AI, but with the personality and nicknames you prefer.

Hi there, thanks so much for your kind words! As for the bad memory and repetition cases, it's just an AI bug that we are trying to fix, so please try tapping the "Regenerate" button (it might help). Besides, you may want to add some important info to the bot's description facts so that the bot could keep it in mind all the time -- also check our new "memory" feature if you're one of our Ultra users, as it allows you add / edit memory facts.
