As simple as that. Stunning design, and reasonable engine strength.
Lousy chess app
Too few features for such an expensive app. Only two piece sets and one board. But I could live with that. However, there's no opening repertoire training of any kind, and worse still, no 'analysis-mode' like in most other chess apps in this price range. The 'hint feature' is a simple one move hint, and not a list of possible moves so it can't be used for much. On top of that, level setting is rudimentary with a few big chunky steps. Way too expensive for a simple chess app of this kind. The engine also doesn't accept draw by threefold repetition(!!) - you just move forever, there's no 'offer draw' and there's NOT even a clock for playing with time limits. I bought it based on all the praising 5-star reviews, but later I realized that those were written by his mom and his friends. I wasted my money - you'll regret this one if you're a serious player.
