Description
The DoorBird App provides mobile access to DoorBird IP Video Door Stations. Using the app, you can see and hear your visitors in real time, speak with them or unlock the door. When visitors press your doorbell, you receive a push notification on your iPhone or iPad and can immediately answer your door – from anywhere in the world. The DoorBird can also send instant alerts when a visitor triggers the built-in motion sensor. No matter if you are at home or not, you will never miss a visitor or a delivery.
DoorBird's innovative IP technology was developed in Germany and is continuously improved through regular app and hardware updates. The system works in your local network (LAN) as well as outside of your home network environment without range limitation and securely encrypted over the Internet.

Generally a nice app but still room for improvements
It will be nice if in the app it would be possible to select that the phone vibrates when someone rings the door phone to be sure to hear it and answer if phone is on silent.

Go to the settings of your smartphone and then select Sounds & Haptics, Vibrate on Silent. Done! Feel free to update your stars ;)
To Many false and delayed alarms with poor video quality
All in all I’m disappointed by the DoorBird quality and would not buy it again.
I have many issues:
1. the ringer button getting stuck after a press.
2. Poor video quality, especially at night.
3. Perhaps the biggest problem is people ringing your door but the ringer doesn’t go off until after the person at the door gave up. Delays is easy between 2 to 30 minutes. DoorBird is blaming apple saying its a push message problem.
4. Audio quality for the person at the door. It’s almost impossible to hear what the home owner is saying. Ecco back is also a big issue.
5. The amount of false alarms is quite high. On windy nights it’s all the time I guess from branches moving in the wind...
I’ll give points for the intention, but all in all not all that impressed.

Poor quality
I have had doorbird for over 2 years - And too many connection problems, tried solving them with tec dep, but to no use. Its a very expensive produckt, but feel like a very cheep one. The app i very confusing, its not user friendly at all.
