drum tuner EZ 4+

Not bad.. not great.

I'll give it 4 stars instead of 3 because it's cheap. And a beginner that does not know how to tune will get much better results than without. So it's worth the price. It seems it needs to have the batter head dampened on the center to pick up low to medium-low tunings. Which is kind of a hassle.. putting a large gel in the center helps. Also it does not tune as good as my ears. Well I spend years learning the crqtt, so no app or tool can, but its OK. I can fine tune the 2-3 lugs that need +/- 2% by ear. so a cheap and nice tool especially for beginners or those who just don't seem to be able to hear the overtones they need to listen to. I might use it from time to time for at quick basic tuning - and then fine tune by ear.

PS: just wanted to mention that it's just as good as a tune-bot. Which I don't "love" either.

Better of with a piano tuner.
