This is a Lite version of EGDR909 - 909 Drum Machine, but all its functionalities can be unlocked as in-app purchase.

ElliottGarage presents EGDR909, a drum machine that emulates the vintage hardware from the 80's with all the facilities of modern software.

Its realistic and clear interface recalls the analog machine from the past, for all the vintage fanatics.
You can play with the groove presets included or you can create your own beat to play along your favorite song via InterApp, Audiobus, Core MIDI and clock MIDI.

You can also share your drum patterns with iTunes filse sharing or Audio Copy.

Looks great but doesn’t work

It’s quite expensive given what it is, and it doesn’t work properly. Half price would have been more reasonable, and maybe a bundle with the 808 would make sense, at this price. I downloaded the “free” version, but you are prompted every other second to purchase, which is quite annoying. Also it crashed while initially testing it out.

Some of the functions are locked, until purchased which is fair enough. I wanted to save a beat, so I made the purchase. This morning I wanted to listen back, but everything has defaulted, and the beat is gone. Well it’s still there by name, but the matrix has restored to default. So basically I paid, for what is essentially the free version …

The app needs a bit more thought, to be worth the price, and at least it needs to be stabile, and work as is.
