Room for many improvements

All in all, the app shouldn’t be released yet since it seems like it’s not finish, and lacking much in several ways.

1. Annoying ads in the bottom of the app.

2. The app has a boring design and visuals.

3. Several webcams are not available yet, and just showing [Coming soon].

4. Only possible to zoom in in the center of the frames in a webcam.

5. Strange prioritizing of webcams. Some villages have several webcams while other - the capital included - have no wrbcam(s).

6. Difficult to navigate. If you for example click on the number [2] in the bottom of the opening page, you end in Vágur, and there is no indication after you have zoomed in where you are.

7. Missing information. The text in the app states this, but the information isn’t in the app:
- Learn about the village's history
- Discover its main attractions.

Thank you for your feedback. :)

We decided to release the app early for two reasons. Firstly, because we believe it already adds value to the users, and secondly, because this is the time of the year when the app is most valuable when the locals and visitors frequently travel around the islands.

Here is our response to your 7 points:
1. Faroe Islands Live is a free app partly financed by the Faroese Municipalities and the ads. The ads are therefore necessary.
2. We have generally received positive feedback on the design, but we will continually improve it.
3. We decided to release the app with 8 webcams showing “Coming Soon”, so it was clear to all users that the app will not only have 17 web cameras but soon 25 and even more in the near future.
4. A general constraint for the video player is that you can only zoom in on the center of the frame.
5. The municipalities finance the web cameras, and therefore they decide which villages they are in.
6. We have generally received positive feedback on the navigation, but we will note this and if other users feel the same way, we will improve it.
7. If you scroll down below the weather information, there is general information about each village with webcams, such as the population, history, and some activities. We will continually improve this information.
