Funkbox contains all your favorite vintage drum machine sounds in one funky quirky little app! FunkBox is a full featured drum machine that you can use to compose, record and play your songs live. Funny little app

Used this as a drums for my group with sax, upright bass, vibes and me on Rhodes and Moog 50+ shows... Works like a charm, sounds wonderful and is good fun

Nice with some flaws

This little app recreates some classic drum machines and does it pretty well. It’s free, and has nearly all the feautures I need. But I do have a few issues:

1) The accent is always turned up to the max for every instrument. Kind of weird.
2) I don’t understand the box variations. What is OG supposed to mean?
3) There are no effects. It could be really cool if I could add reverb or delay to individual instruments.

But these are minor issues, and I wouldn’t mind paying for an upgraded version of the app.

Sexy yet useful beat machine

Fun to use, with a level of tweakability that's just right for the iPhone platform.

Plays in the background, so you can play another iOS instrument app on top. Even syncs via virtual midi port

I've even been thinking of buying it for my band mates
