Game doesn’t open on ipad

I’ve had problems in the past with the game while playing on my ipad, where I get booted regularly and thrown out of the game (where app closes).
Now many months later I tried to download the app again (to see if the problem had been fixed) but as soon as I want to connect through facebook and as soon as the app is in process of opening facebook for me to sign in, the app closes again.

I have iPad Air (model nr. MD794NF/A)
